The third BMW 3-Series to wear the M3 badge, the E46 generation is favored for its well-rounded performance, traditional BMW styling, and venerable S54 inline-six engine. This Canadian-market 2006 BMW M3 Coupe is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic over black Nappa leather and features a 6-speed manual transmission. Enhanced with a Magnaflow muffler, a short shifter, and an aftermarket infotainment system, this example is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada with approximately 93k kilometers or 58k miles showing on the odometer.
The E46 M3 is differentiated from a standard 3-Series by its aggressive bumpers and front fender vents as well as its power dome hood, side skirts, trunk lid spoiler, and quad-tip exhaust outlet. This Coupe is finished in Titanium Silver Metallic (354) contrasted with Shadowline trim. It rides on 19” Style 67 M Double Spoke wheels wrapped in Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. The US and Canadian CARFAX reports indicate damage from January 2007, August 2010, May 2011, May 2012, June 2016, and November 2017, affecting the left rear and right front corners. Under current ownership, paint correction and XPEL paint protection film were applied. Touch-up paint was used on corrosion around the left front wheel well, hail damage on the roof was repaired, and cracked weather stripping on the left side windows has been noted. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin presents black Nappa leather upholstery with Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim and an Alcantara headliner. Factory features include power-operated and heated seats with memory, automatic climate control, a three-spoke M leather steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, M3-specific instrument dials, an M leather shift knob, M3-branded door sills and floor mats, and a stainless-steel M3 rest pedal. An aftermarket infotainment system has been paired with the Harmon Kardon audio. The seller notes the stereo intermittently disconnects and the center cupholders are peeling.
Power comes from the revered 3.2L S54 inline-six, which makes up to 333 HP and 269 lb.-ft of torque. Considered by many as one of BMW’s greatest engine designs, the S54 utilizes motorsport technology including individual throttle bodies, quasi-dry sump lubrication, and robust Mahle pistons. Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The E46 M3 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in approximately 5 seconds while reaching an electronically governed top speed of 155 MPH. Additionally, a Magnaflow muffler and aftermarket short shifter have been fitted.
This sale will include a Canadian registration.

@AnthonyV33 that was NOT a claim. It was an estimate. The car has a clean title and car works amazing.
It was ***
@lemonssalami if was an estimate. Not a claim. I think the previous owner had some damage and he brought it to his friend to give him an exaggerated estimate so we can take the insurance money for it. That’s all we can think of. Because that amount of damage was not on the vehicle ever.

Does it carry a clean title? The damage cost nearly as much to repair as the car was worth. I'm curious what a $24k repair job entailed
@lemonssalami No, that was before my ownership. It’s perfect now
Any info/pictures of the damage to the front right corner?

@M3List thank you
Nice E46! Looks clean. Good luck to the buyer and seller.
