The third BMW 3-Series to wear the M3 badge, the E46 generation is favored for its well-rounded performance, traditional BMW styling, and venerable S54 inline-six engine. This 2006 example marks the E46 M3’s final model year and comes finished in Carbon Black Metallic over a Cinnamon leather interior. Featuring a generous array of factory options and a few tasteful modifications, this M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Missouri while showing approximately 97k miles on the odometer.
Based on the two-door E46, the M3 is distinguished by model-specific bumpers and side skirts as well as front fender vents, an aluminum “power dome” hood, M-design mirrors, and a rear valence with four stainless-steel exhaust tips. This Coupe is finished in Carbon Black Metallic with gloss black trim and matching front kidney grilles. An upgraded CSL-style front bumper has been installed along with 19” Competition-style wheels in a dark grey painted finish. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report that shows the bumpers, trunk lid, right fender, and headlight assembly ordered for replacement in 2008.
The cabin is appointed with Cinnamon leather, an Anthracite headliner, and Shadowline Brushed Aluminum trim. Heated and power-adjustable front seats with lumbar support and driver memory are included as part of the Premium Package. Other factory options include a power glass moonroof, Park Distance Control (rear), xenon headlights, an onboard navigation system, BMW Assist, and a premium Harmon/Kardon sound system.
Equipped with VANOS variable valve timing and individual throttle bodies, the 3.2-liter S54 inline-six engine was rated at 333 HP and 262 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission. The CARFAX report shows 25 previous maintenance records and the seller states the VANOS system was repaired in 2021 at approximately 84k miles.
This sale will include a clean title.

@RyanDeeley I sent a video to Pcar for them to post.
Is there any chance we could get a startup video and or a driving video?
What was the wiring repaired in November of 2022? Is there set of receipts included with car?
The side mirrors are also modded.
@bobateafett sorry about missing listing the exhaust, just typed my response in hurry.
Bid in the amount of $11,500
@PSCC I'm also curious about what the accident was considering damage to both rear and front. Also, you mentioned the extent of upgrades are Bilstein coilovers and an air intake, but the photos show an Eisenmann exhaust.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@PSCC Oh absolutely agreed. Was just curious what the accident was
@videodima it was hardly sandwiched, it was purely cosmetic and I zero problem with someone having the car inspected, it is an amazing example.

Any information on the accident in 2008? Sounds like the car was sandwhiched

@PSCC Copy thank you! I see it on 11/24/2020 as well as 10/04/21 on the CF. "Color noted as gray". Although I see the paint code etc in photos so must be a Carfax "quirk".
@Robrusselldp92 Where do you see it listed as Gray? I will upload the VANOS receipt. The car has Bilstein coilover's and an aftermarket air intake, that is the extent of the upgrades.
I see the car color was noted as gray, assuming the sapphire black is in the form of a wrap?
Can we also get a clear cut list of mods on the car? Suspension, exhaust etc.
I also don't see proof of the VANOS repair on carfax, are there receipts available?
Has the subframe been inspected at all recently? Thank you!
