Drawing inspiration from the classic DB4 GT Zagato, the first-generation Aston Martin V12 Vanquish was designed by Ian Callum and launched in 2001 featuring a bonded aluminum composite chassis with a carbon fiber backbone, and a naturally aspirated 5.6-liter V12 engine. The updated Vanquish S model debuted in 2004 with revised styling, stiffer suspension, larger brakes, a quicker steering ratio, and a more powerful V12 rated at 520 HP. This 2006 Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S is finished in Carbon Black over a black and grey leather/Alcantara interior. It equips a 6-speed automated manual transaxle, paddle shifters, heated power-adjustable seats, a quilted Alcantara headliner, rear parking sensors, red brake calipers, and 19” alloy wheels. Originally sold in the United States, it was imported to Canada in 2014 and acquired by the seller about two years ago. One of only 1,086 examples produced in total, this V12 Vanquish S is now being offered for auction with approximately 28k miles on the odometer.

The Aston Martin V12 Vanquish S can be distinguished from a standard Vanquish model by its integrated rear spoiler, larger front grille, and front spoiler. The hand-finished aluminum bodywork includes traditional straked fender vents, a vented hood, fog lights, prominent rear fenders, and dual polished exhaust outlets. This example is presented in Carbon Black paint and features red Aston Martin-branded brake calipers mounted behind silver 19” eleven-spoke alloy wheels. It rides on Pirelli P Zero tires from 2022. The seller indicates consistent paint meter readings throughout the exterior and describes the finish to be in exceptional condition given the car’s age and mileage.

The two-seater cabin is upholstered with black and grey Bridge of Weir leather upholstery complemented by decorative stitching, contrasting Alcantara seat centers, and a quilted Alcantara headliner. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable sport seats, a three-spoke black leather steering wheel with paddle shifters, white instrument dials, black carpet floor mats with contrast edging, a rear parcel shelf, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, an engine start button, an analog clock, a CD stereo, and a navigation system. All accessories and electronics are said to be working properly. The CARFAX report shows a mileage inconsistency in 2024 which likely resulted from a clerical error during registration, and the seller ensures the mileage shown on the odometer is accurate.

The Vanquish S is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 DOHC engine. Up to 520 HP and 425 lb.-ft of torque is sent to the rear wheels through an electro-hydraulically operated 6-speed automated manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Compared to a standard V12 Vanquish, the S model incorporates stiffer springs and dampers, a 20% quicker steering response, larger 6-piston front brake calipers, and floating grooved brake discs at each corner.

This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean Canadian title.

The seller would like you to know: “Only 2,589 production cars were ever built, 1,503 as standard V12 Vanquish and 1,086 V12 Vanquish S. When the exhaust valves open at 5000 rpm it's a v12 symphony of high notes. V12 Vanquish is a car beloved by modern-day enthusiasts and also heritage collectors alike. The car's appearance in 'Die Another Day' ensured its place in James Bond history and has helped to make this an instantly recognizable model. Importantly, Vanquish saw huge developments in engineering and design, many of which formed the basis for the development of the current Aston Martin model line-up. As with the standard car, the S could have been ordered as either a 2 seater (2+0) with a shelf for luggage or a 2+2 with rear seats only suitable for small children, this particular example has the rare luggage shelf option. The V12 Vanquish S interior has some differences from the original car. The central backlit etched glass starter button had already been taken from the DB9 but the big change came with the whole centre console covered in leather instead of being painted. For the 2006MY V12 Vanquish S, the interior received a DB9 inspired make-over to the centre console. The a new 6.5 inch full colour satellite navigation system screen. V12 Vanquish featured a body tub made from extruded aluminium and Carbon Fibre with extensive use of more Carbon Fibre and composite materials throughout the crash structure of the car. This extremely rigid and safe body-shell was then clothed in hand-finished, superformed aluminum panels. Underneath the handmade bonnet sat a 460bhp version of the Aston Martin V12 engine, delivering its power via a 6-speed manual gearbox controlled by an electro-hydraulic paddle shift gear change. Building on the sales success of the original Vanquish, Vanquish S featured an increase in engine power (up from 460bhp to 520bhp) and revised gear and back axle ratios. Top speed was quoted as being in excess of 200mph, making it one of the fastest Aston Martin road cars built at Newport Pagnell.”

Hi! Do you have any service records for the Aston?

  • montecarlobeach (registered bidder) 1 month, 3 weeksago

@cavallino87, I can second @JDCar599's comment regarding the lip spoiler. When I lost mine (within 100 miles of ownership as I recall), I was crestfallen. In my depression, I did a bunch of web searches and remember reading that the lip spoiler on the show car didn't even make it through the European show season! It made me feel better. That wouldn't be a reason for me to hesitate.

An amazing car that can be serviced by a skilled independent. Painfully pretty, and as @wanna123 points out--still perfectly relevant in terms of design 20 years on. It turns heads everywhere and is at home in the company of exotics that are much more expensive and far less useable. Glorious sound, massive power (for its time), and an absolute presence anywhere it goes. The interior lags behind (Aston Martin's Achilles in my opinion), but is still pretty comfortable even for North American males. If ever I were going to make a car the static centerpiece of a room in my home, this would be a finalist (along with the Ferrari 246).

  • Jaysenc (seller) 1 month, 3 weeksago

Hello all, our mistake, if it is more than 3 years outside the USA, duty is applicable at 2.5%
This is a great low mileage S model with great collectability with only 1086 Vanquish S models produced
    Good luck to all!

  • wanna123 (registered bidder) 1 month, 3 weeksago

The bodywork on these cars is just insane. Look at the door and how it integrates that 1/4 bulge and think how hard that is to pull off. 20 year old style that looks current.

Good luck to seller car is beautiful!!

  • rikhumps (registered bidder) 1 month, 3 weeksago

Duty would be around 2.5% and DOT Certification is anyone's guess. Bought a Speedster in from Edmonton but had to have speedometer changes over to miles. That certification costs were 7grrrrr. Know the exact fees associated with all aspects of import

  • zanglemyer10 (registered bidder) 1 month, 3 weeksago

@jaysenc According to a well regarded importer, since the car has been registered outside of the USA for more than three years it must go through a full importation which includes paying the duty and having a DOT inspection. It is possible to submit a claim for duty reimbursement after the importation is complete.

  • Jaysenc (seller) 1 month, 4 weeksago

@rikhumps Hello, this is a previous USA vehicle
So no duty and receive a 7501 once its crosses the border, 7501 the form you get once you cross the border that gets stamped by customs to convert registration to title, the title we have is currently a Quebec, Canada registration
    Transport is about 4K

What are the import fees to the US? What documentation do you have in lieu of title.? Approximate cost of transport to Blaine, Washington?

  • JDCar599 (registered bidder) 1 month, 4 weeksago

@cavallino87, the lip spoiler on these never survive. I had an 05 Vanquish S, mine lasted a week. I would not concern myself with it being missing here.

  • Jaysenc (seller) 1 month, 4 weeksago

@cavallino87 Hello, no it is not

  • cavallino87 (registered bidder) 1 month, 4 weeksago

The 'S' lip spoiler is missing on this car. Is it included/available?

  • Jaysenc (seller) 2 monthsago

@TheWeekendMotorCo It is simply an error from the previous leasing company when they entered the mileage. We are working with CARFAX to have it resolved it.

  • TheWeekendMotorCo (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

@jaysenc sorry if I missed it above, but what is the mileage discrepancy all about?

  • Jaysenc (seller) 2 monthsago

@TheWeekendMotorCo Hello, yes, we definitely can help with that

  • TheWeekendMotorCo (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

are you able to assist in getting the car into the States?
