Aston Martin’s premier luxury grand tourer from 2003 to 2017, the DB9 sports a traditional design and offers a comfortable ride powered by a naturally aspirated V12 engine. This 2006 example is finished in Blue Sapphire over a blue interior and was purchased new by the seller who kept the car in Nevada before moving to Florida in 2022. This Aston Martin is now being offered for auction with under 12k miles showing on the odometer.
Designed by Ian Callum and Henrik Fisker, the DB9 features a contemporary take on classic Aston Martin styling with a distinctive front grille, swan-wing doors, vented bonnet, and straked fender vents. This DB9 is finished in Blue Sapphire and rides on factory 19” ten-spoke alloy wheels. The seller adds that new tires were mounted within the last 18 months, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with blue Bridge of Weir leather upholstery accented by optional mahogany wood veneers and door caps. Amenities include a retractable infotainment display, automatic climate control, heated 10-way adjustable electric front seats, rear parking sensors, cruise control, a satellite navigation system, a multifunction steering wheel, an engine start button, a sound system, and an umbrella holder.
Shared with Aston Martin’s V12 Vanquish flagship sports car, the DB9 is powered by a 5.9-liter DOHC 12-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed ZF automatic transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Up to 450 HP and 420 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels while braking is handled by slotted and ventilated discs at each corner. The seller states that the car has been maintained annually by Galpin Aston Martin of Van Nuys, California, and at Tobin Aston Martin of Las Vegas, Nevada. The most recent service was completed earlier in 2023.
This sale will include the original owner’s manuals and a clean title.
