Available for auction at no reserve is this 2005 Porsche Cayenne Turbo finished in Jarama Beige Metallic over black smooth leather, featuring an impressive list of factory options including the rare Advanced Offroad Tech Package (PB2). The Offroad Tech Pack was an option seldom equipped for the Cayenne and gave the sporty SUV off-road capability without sacrificing its on-road surefootedness. This package includes sill guards (rock rails), hydraulically activated and deactivated anti-roll bars, a locking rear differential, as well as added protection for the radiator, fuel tank, and transfer case. Prior to the seller’s recent acquisition, this Cayenne had been under the care of its original owner who has serviced the car exclusively through an authorized Porsche dealer. Within the last 4 months, the current owner has brought all maintenance up to date including vacuum line updates, a high-quality oil service, and a flush of the transmission, differential, and transfer case fluids. This Cayenne Turbo resides in California and is now being offered at no-reserve while showing approximately 154k miles on the odometer.

On the outside, the Jarama Beige Metallic paint shines nicely while showing minimal cosmetic imperfections.  CARFAX indicates front-end damage in 2017 and there are no records of repair or signs of persisting damage noted by the seller.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. Professional polishing was recently carried out in addition to an application of ceramic coating. This Turbo retains its factory optioned 20” Sport Techno wheels which feature an exclusive paint-matched finish.  Other factory items include aluminum-look roof rails, red-painted brake calipers, and a trailer hitch.

Inside, the black smooth leather interior is noted to be in very nice condition with all gauges and accessories working properly. At an original sticker price of over $108k, a host of factory options are present including Porsche Communication Management with Off-Road Navigation, the Convenience Package, Light Comfort Package with memory, Warm Weather Package, roll up sunscreens (1/4 windows), thermally insulated glass, Sport Seats with memory, and the rare 4 Zone Air Conditioning package including rear-seat climate control options.

The 955 Cayenne Turbo derives power from a robust 4.5L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that is capable of producing approximately 450HP and 460 lb-ft of torque.  Power is sent to all four wheels via a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission providing for a 0-60 MPH sprint in approximately 5 seconds with a top speed of over 185 mph. This vehicle is also equipped with an air suspension as well as the Advanced Offroad Tech Package including a fully controllable locking rear differential, hydraulically activated anti-roll bars, and additional underbody protection. The seller reports that this Cayenne Turbo is completely up-to-date on all services with recent items addressed including driveline fluid flushes, new filters, valve cover gasket replacement, replacement of all brake pads and rotors, replacement of the brake booster, and the installation of a new OEM battery. Service Records are included from the previous ownership and this example is said to be in great running order at this time.

Included in this sale are 2 sets of keys, a clean title, original books, the original spare tire, tools, and maintenance records. This is an excellent opportunity to own a rare Advanced Offroad Tech Package Cayenne Turbo at a time when collectible trucks and SUVs are more sought after than ever.

@Fishingaprilfool glad to hear you plan to get in on the action, and yes we’re well aware of the pesky warning lights lol

We’ve gone to great lengths to assure there are no warning lights on this car and have addressed any potential faults to make sure the lights stay away.

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@Ry_Lyte We found a fault in the passenger seat airbag connection (which is typical of these cars). The warning light has been cleared as well.

  • Fishingaprilfool (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

    @RacecarsForYou -
I have had several first generation Cayennes and I intend to bid on your listing. One issue with these great vehicles is the sometime annoying warning light for any and everything. Can you let me know if there are any lights on this vehicle at this time?

  • Ry_Lyte (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@Seller, one of the latest service records shows an airbag light on. Do you have records of this being addressed or fixed?

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@Peterabrown Hi! So sorry if the last answer was vague. So the "update" is a Porsche factory kit where the plastic lines are replaced with aluminum ones. There is a great write up here that details the update:

    https://fifthgear.biz/fifthgear-blog/porsche-cayenne-v8-coolant-pipe-update/

    and here :

    https://www.autoscopecarcare.com/videos/porsche-cayenne-coolant-leak-pipe-update/

Unfortunately I don't have any records of the update being done but you can check them visually ( which we have ) and I'll try get a photo of them and post for you. :-)

  • Peterabrown 3 years, 9 monthsago

@RacecarsForYou Thank you for addressing - can you specify "updated" - and what precisely was done and if you have some paperwork on that fix and what it cost?

    Thank you…

    pb

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@Peterabrown Thanks for the questions! Cardan shaft had a new support bearing installed 6 months ago, the coolant pipes where updated by the dealer prior to us receiving the car.

  • Peterabrown 3 years, 9 monthsago

will you please address the coolant pipes and cardan shaft issues?

  • kfitzpat9 (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@seller. Makes sense on the AN fittings based on what you do?. Thanks for clarifying!

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@Ry_Lyte Yes its has the control module and corresponding trailer wiring

  • Ry_Lyte (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

Does the vehicle have the tow lighting adapter installed with the tow hitch?
Does is also have the tow module?

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@kfitzpat9 That fuse box is out of a spec 911 were doing work on, its not supposed to be in this gallery, apologies for the confusion.
No AN fittings exist on car, that picture is of a spec 911 and was included by mistake (working on getting that image removed)

The Cayenne is all factory, no modifications have been made.

    Ref tires:
2 fronts are Federal Couragia F/X
2 rears are Accelera Iota ST68

  • RacecarsForYou (seller) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@kfitzpat9 Thats actually a picture of a spec 911 fuel cell... not sure how that got in with the cayenne, thank you for pointing out.

  • kfitzpat9 (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@seller sorry, last one sent too early. Same picture 35, what is the fuse block and wiring?

Tires: saw where you bought 2 new tires, what brand are the other ones on the car and what is the condition.

Modifications: any mods to the car? (other than AN fittings)

  • kfitzpat9 (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

@racecarsforYou Nice car and a couple of questions:

    1) Picture 35- what does the hose with the AN fittings go to as certainly not factory.
    Any fluid leaks at all?
