The body is finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a matching black convertible top. The car rides on a set of optional 18” Boxster S wheels dressed in Sumitomo HTR ZII tires from 2008. The seller describes the exterior to be in good overall condition with some minor rock chips on the lower front fascia, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The black standard leather interior comes factory equipped with optional heated seats, automatic climate control, and Sound Package Plus. Other equipment includes a three-spoke steering wheel, heated rear window, Porsche CDR24 radio, an aftermarket shift knob, silver “Boxster” logo door sills, and a removable wind deflector between the seats.

A naturally aspirated 2.7-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 240 HP and 199 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission. The seller states a service was recently completed including an oil change as well as replacements of the water pump and thermostat.

@Alphaboy1 It does happen on the driver side, when I close the top I stop half way to tuck it, and continue from there.

Nice car. the roof seems to have an issue with overlapping the plastic sides when closing. I know this is common after some time. Please confirm this to be the case.

Clearly needs Tires $1200 or more and IMS with Clutch.

@155MPH I catch myself going both ways ¯\_(?)_/¯

  • EnthusiastAutoHaus (seller) 2 yearsago

@jeffsnavely Realistically we recommend doing an IMS anytime there is zero history on it, regardless of production date. Thankfully it's not even that pricey anymore, our local Porsche specialist is $2,300 for IMS replacement, or $3,000 all in if you want the clutch done at the same time.

    por . shuh

  • jeffsnavely (registered bidder) 2 yearsago

11-1-04 production date indicates the older IMS that will need replacing ASAP.
