@1trvlr @1trvlr, the pics 23 and 42 show a slight driveway scrape at the bottom of the front valance . Anything above that is either wax or lighting reflection. Pic 48 may be a scratch, but I need to check it out again. Pic 66 is just a carpet pull, needs a tuck.
@1trvlr my guess is the carpet not tucked into the door seal might be a common issue, my '05 Boxster does the same thing and coincidentally also has an upgraded Pioneer head unit.
On pics 23 & 42 on the lower part of fender well is it damage or wax residue? Pic 48, scratch on mirror or wax residue? Pic 66, Is carpet not seated in rubber door seal due to prior accident damage?
Good morning Bidders and followers.
Of course I'll be available throughout the day for any inquiries or updates requested on our lovely Porsche. We had a couple of good inperson showings and remain excited about the closing stages of the auction. As I mentioned early on, bid with confidence, as this boxster is as represented.
@CAL-GTV Thanks for the answer on the IMS !
Best,
Efariab
@CAL-GTV @CAL-GTV, No water damage or entry of moisture in this convertible.
@eunos1990 @eunos1990, the top does show a deceiving shadow, even in person. It's in near perfect condition and is not torn or compromised in any way. Definitely the shadow effect of the crease.
@Efariab Thank you for the question, it's the later engine according to Fairfield Porsche. Dan Jacob's garage also verified that the bearing is fine and mileage is a reinforcement factor along with top service. hope that helps.
@CAL-GTV Good evening! Beautiful color Boxster! Which in the side profile of pic#8 "looks fast even standing still", that the rear spoiler deployed! HA! Question: In pics 35 and 36, it appears the top (original?) has a couple of 2" tears in the fabric to the left and right of the rear window, is that accurate? If so, do you know if water is an issue either from a car wash or rain etc? Anyway, really nice looking and GLWTA!

@CAL-GTV, great looking Boxster!
Since this question never came up in the previous comments, Please correct me if I'm wrong, the very early 2005 Porsche Boxsters were still using the old M96 motor with the "IMS bearing" issues that were problematic.
So, do have any information as to which engine (earlier or the newer 987.1) does your car have ??
Thanks in advance,
Efariab
I've uploaded a copy of the title to the Porsche.

Good evening bidders and fans. I've uploaded the work order/paid receipt from the Porsche dealer that did the work.
It appears everything was done to factory spec and a high level result was achieved.
This was back in 2007 and my uncle enjoyed the Porsche all the years since. His maintenance approach is what we would expect from an enthusiast going forward. Thanks for the interest and bids and I look forward to showing the car.

@Bob.Beck8428 the title is clear and clean because the claim was a small fraction of the value. This Boxster is near perfect. PPI is welcomed and encouraged.
Is there any indication on the title re: prior damage?
Bid in the amount of $6,543
@Spokayman @Spokayman. I have quite a bit of information re the repairs. I will get them uploaded asap. Thank you for the inquiry.
@CAL-GTV,
Do you have any photos, receipts, etc associated with the 2007 and 2017 accidents?
The 2017 accident sounds severe enough to require frame straightening?
@pars22, I saw that after it was posted. Not sure how that found its way her, but will be removed.
Thanks for the heads up.

The last page is for a different car, a 911.
Good afternoon Pcar community. Excited to have my first auction here for my uncle's Boxster. Spent a lot of time in and around this convertible and it drives as good as it looks. I'll be available this week to answer any questions or concerns. We are all PCA members on this end and here to help.
Have fun bidding. CAL-GTV
