It is our pleasure to present this incredibly rare 2005 Porsche 996 Turbo S Cabriolet 6-speed finished in Atlas Grey Metallic over a black full leather interior with the Dark Wood Package.  Offered for one year only and considered among the most highly collectible Porsches of the modern era, the 996 Turbo S came standard with PCCB ceramic composite brakes, aluminum instrument dials, and the X50 Performance Package.  This particular example also came factory optioned with 18” GT3 wheels, Porsche crested headrests, supple leather seats, and a Sport Shifter.  Additionally, it has been upgraded with a CROSS coil-over suspension as well as an EvoMS Stage 4 kit which includes an ECU upgrade, sport exhaust, high-flow cats, K24 turbos, headers, and more.  With just under 17k miles traveled from new, this Turbo S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Tennessee.

This example is finished in Atlas Grey Metallic with a black Cabriolet top, and the paint is reported to be entirely original and in excellent condition. Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean title.  In addition to its widened body styling, this Turbo S is distinguished by its yellow Porsche ceramic composite brakes (PCCB) which are tucked behind factory exclusive 18” GT3 wheels that will come dressed in brand new OEM-spec Pirelli P-Zero tires.

Inside, you will find a black full leather interior complemented by the optional Dark Wood Package.  At an original sticker price of over $147k, this Turbo S also features supple leather front and rear seats, front seat heating and lumbar support, a Sport Shifter, a 3-spoke steering wheel in Dark Wood and leather, Porsche crested headrests, and Dark Wood/aluminum trim on the shifter and brake handle.  The cabin is described to be in very nice condition while retaining the full functionality of all gauges and accessories.

The 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger engine in this Turbo S came factory equipped with the X50 Performance Package which resulted in a stock output of 444 HP, an increase of 25 HP over the standard Turbo.  All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual gearbox.  Nearly $24k is said to have been invested in performance upgrades including CROSS coil-overs and upgraded control arms, H&R sway bars, and an Evo carbon strut tower brace. An EvoMS Stage 4 kit has also been installed that includes an upgraded ECU, intake, sport exhaust, high-flow cats, K24 headers and turbos, and billet diverter valves.  A dyno-test yielded an output of 504 HP at the wheels and invoices are included for the aforementioned upgrades.  A wheel alignment has been recently carried out and the seller reports this 996 to be in excellent running order.  Some service history is available on CARFAX and the seller has offered to accommodate a pre-purchase inspection for any potential buyer.

This sale will include a set of 2 master keys, 1 valet key, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, some records, and a clean title.  A true collector's item with performance upgrades that will satisfy any avid driving enthusiast, this rare 16k-mile 996 Turbo S presents an opportunity that is not to be missed.
