Produced for the 2005 model year only, the Porsche 996 Turbo S was offered as the top-range 911 featuring Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) and the X50 Powerkit which provided an output of 444 HP from the car’s twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine. This example is one of 960 Cabriolet versions produced in total and is finished in Carrara White over a Metropol Blue full leather interior. It comes factory-equipped with an optional Tiptronic S automatic transmission, heated supple leather seats, Porsche crested headrests, a logo-embossed storage compartment lid, an aluminum-look instrument panel, painted front air intakes, and body-colored 18” wheels. The car has also been fitted with a Fabspeed air intake and an updated Porsche Classic (PCCM) Plus head unit. Showing approximately 40k miles on the odometer, this rare 996 Turbo S Cabriolet is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 996 is finished in Carrara White with a power-operated Metropol Blue convertible top. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps, optional painted front air intakes, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, polished quad exhaust tips, yellow ceramic brake calipers, and painted body-color 18” 911 Turbo wheels with matching center caps. Clear side marker lenses have been installed, and the seller notes some paint chips around the exterior and a dent on the right front wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Metropol Blue full leather upholstery with matching carpets. Accessories include a three-spoke leather steering wheel with Tiptronic shift buttons, optional heated supple leather front seats, driver seat memory, Porsche-crested headrests, aluminum instrument dials, an aluminum-look instrument surround, aluminum trim for the shifter and handbrake, an embossed Turbo logo on the storage compartment lid, automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, and a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) Plus head unit. Some signs of wear are noted on the seats and interior touchpoints.
The Turbo S model comes standard with the X50 Powerkit which equips the twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine with larger K24 turbochargers, intercoolers, and revised ECU programming. This example features a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission that delivers up to 444 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels. Stopping power comes from cross-drilled Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) rotors paired with fixed 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers at the rear. The engine has been modified with a Fabspeed air intake system and an aftermarket reusable air filter. Service documentation shows an oil change and a multi-point inspection was completed at 39,973 miles.
This sale will include one key, a cabin wind deflector, and a clean title.

whoever purchase this beauty....will be extremely happy!!.... is truly the best 2005 PORSCHE 996 TURBO S IN THE USA MARKET 100%
@seller - thank you !
Car looks terrific.
I owned the same car in triple black. Picture 12 picks up the black from inside the light fixture. The head on picture shows no large gap. I think this car is stunning in white.
@Ram3k Correct, NO accidents.
@seller, you say "with all service records ...this car was serviced religiously", but only record posted is a recent safety inspection and a wheel repair. Please share the rest of the records. Thanks.
I am by no means an expert, but I’ve been looking at 996 turbos for quite a while, and have not noticed the gap irregularities like what appears to be pictured here.
@seller - can you confirm for viewers / bidders that no accidents, repairs etc, have occurred ?
Many thx and GLWTA
A new video has been added to the listing page
@johnhyrum Hi John,
That's a standard gap width for this series...nothing wrong with it...GREAT CLEAN CAR NO ACCIDENTS....with all service records ...this car was serviced religiously.
@borneo Hello , hope all is well.....correct...standard gap width for this series
Thank everyone for joining us at this auction!!
Whether you bid, bought, or simply showed interest in admiring this 2005 PORSCHE , you were all part of it and helped make this a success.
We appreciate your presence and support and look forward to doing business with you in the future.
PS I got a feeling that this beauty is going to a new home..
I have an '05 Turbo S cab, 6 speed, and the front bumper gap matches the one on this car. While not "beautiful" looks to be standard gap width for this series. Great cars, still undervalued. Will be interesting to see price differential between a manual and this tiptronic car.
For what it's worth. I have an 03 996ttX50 that has gaps similar to this one. They look too wide and abnormal to me. I have looked at others online that appear to be the same, so I have concluded that this is just how they were made. But I dont know, so I would be interested if anyone has a definite answer, thank you. GLWTA
Beautiful spec.
Please help me understand picture #12.
It looks to me like the front bumper-to fender gap (driver’s side) actually flares out and away from the surface of the fender, creating a substantial ledge under the fender-line. In other photographs, as mentioned below, the front bumper seems to show substantially wider gaps in some areas, such as the valleys between headlights and bumper.
If I have mis-stated anything here in my interpretation of the car’s panel gaps, I apologize in advance.
GLWTA!
Bid in the amount of $60,000
That’s a classic color combo. Turbo S Powerkit, and tiptronic totally fits the car. If you actually read and learn how to drive a tiptronic porsche it’s very fun. Yes, you guessed it I own a 911 turbo tiptronic
@Woodrm64 thank you....but we had offers higher than that....there's nothing like this one right under 40k miles, mint condition, no accidents... in the country right now
Bid in the amount of $10,000
Why is there such a large gap between the headlights and the front bumper cover. I know you say there is a clean carfax but has there been a fender bender of some sort at the front of the car that has been repaired? Thanks. Great looking car and color combination.
A great and clean car. The $61,000 offered was fair, at least in my mind, given this has the Tiptronic and not the manual. To each their own. GLWTA!
>>car is worth a lot more
The free market spoke yesterday at your other auction for this car.
The video can not be accessed - it’s marked private.
@CarsAreFun we had offers higher than that....but not willing to let this beauty go for anything in that range...this car is too fun & beautiful to let it go for that....car is worth a lot more
@alvarouribe1988 The video is private, did you try to use the Cars & Bids video on this listing?
@Odocommando no, no hard top Please see pictures attached.
Thanks
@Odocommando Hope all is well....we own the vehicle
Wow, did you guys try to use the Cars & Bids video on this listing?
@carsarefun
Interesting. I wonder if the seller knows they are auctioning their car.
Was anything done to build value in the car since it no-sold on Cars&Bids yesterday? I find it odd that the car went live on this site the same day that it no-sold for $61,000.
Does it have hard top?
