We are pleased to offer this rare 2005 Porsche 996 Turbo S Coupe finished in Black over a premium black full leather interior. Built for one year only, the 996 Turbo S features the factory X50 Power Kit providing an output of 444 HP along with Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard. These are the last Turbo S models to have been offered with a manual transmission, and only 186 6-speed examples are reported to have been produced in total. This Coupe was configured at an original sticker price of over $137k with options including color-matched 18” GT3 wheels, aluminum-look air vent slats, leather Sport Seats with Porsche crested headrests, a shifter and brake handle in carbon/aluminum, and Custom Tailoring. A true collector’s item and one of the most sought-after models of the 996 generation, this Turbo S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer.
This 996 is finished in Black and features wide fenders, rear air intakes, and a speed-activated rear spoiler. Additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. This Turbo S rides on factory-optioned 18” GT3 wheels in a special color-matched finish and Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, you will find a black full leather interior with desirable factory Sport Seats and Exclusive options including a 3-spoke leather steering wheel, Porsche crested headrests, and carbon/aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle. Other factory details include aluminum-look air vent slats, heated seats, and a thicker steering wheel. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
The 3.6 L twin-turbocharged flat-six Mezger engine in this Turbo S came factory equipped with the X50 Performance Kit which resulted in an output of 444 HP, an increase of 25 HP over the standard 996 Turbo. All four wheels are driven through a rare 6-speed manual gearbox, and stopping power is handled by standard Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB). CARFAX shows a history of routine service up until 2010 and the seller reports no outstanding maintenance items at this time.
This sale will include the original window sticker, a car cover, and a clean title. Among the rarest and most sought-after Turbos of the modern era, this well-optioned 996 Turbo S 6-speed presents an opportunity that is not to be missed.

@allthingsporsches - you’re spot on with your comments!
I’d hate to see members of the BaT peanut gallery migrate to this site…
@Ch1lydeuce iam sorry but has to be the dummest thing ever ! Is that like the only thing you can think of why it was registered in Montana , now I did mention that this car is all stock an in amazing mechanical and physical condition , always stock , now it couldn’t have been that the person was either from Montana or if he was in Cali he wanted to avoid the 10 percent sales tax ? Besides the fact that it passed Cali emmisions like 3 times on the Carfax ? You
Must be from bring a trailer ?
Is the reason the car was registered in Montana due to the failed CA smog check?
@cubfan if you look at my comment below I said , most of the services are all in the Carfax , we will post paint meter readings later today !
@Importedk but did they have service records for the past decade?
@allthingsporsches any update on the service records?
@Importedk probably without the sport seats as well !
This should easily fetch 105-115k.
I’ve seen 2 sell for 120k from dealers with slightly less miles and without the GT3 black wheels.
