Up for auction is this authentic 2005 996 GT3 factory Cup Car. Having been originally used by the Brazil GT3 Cup Challenge division, this 996 was driven in a few races before being exported to Miami in 2012. This GT3 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.6 L flat-six engine. A recent dyno test by Heinlein Racing Development is said to have shown an output of 384 HP. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission which is mated to a brand-new GT Pro limited slip differential. Guys I meant to do $49250. I don’t think pcar caught my comment in time and then I got outbid anyway. My apologies
Love to know how a person bids in error
Pretty simplistic process

@badboss Agree that’s messed up
so what's the sell price here? I wanted to bid but is the retraction recognized? I wasn't going to out bid the high bidder who owned two bids where he out bid himself.
Did it sell at 49 or 50250 ?

Hi Seller! By any chance do you have any documents of the export of this car out of Brazil? I have interest in taking it back to Brazil and I could void some good amount in taxes on the re entry. Thanks.
@jbelcredi yes, I have the dyno test and Watkins Glen far distance but can’t figure out how to upload it. I will work on it
Is there any video car running/racing?
AirPower,
No on the original muffler. Straight exhaust.
DO you have the original muffler?
Bid in the amount of $25,250
I have a 2002 "faux" GT3 Cup. It is a blast to run and relatively cheap to run, stock 3.6L engine. However the tighter suspension and the 70+ HP that this car has would be amazing. I would love it! Sadly, not prepared to make the jump at this time. GLWTA!
The following are fiberglass pieces: right door, front hood, engine cover with wing.
The cars from Brazil usually had some changes, like fiberglass front fenders and a few other things that are not original. What on this car is not original equipment?
A65,
Manual s in photos already. Engine and transmission is original verifying by Porsche in Atlanta. Right rear quarter/ fender and Door replaced. Don’t have print out of ECU but is on service work sheet. All work done at Advanced Automotive in New Windsor NY. No spare wheels. Paints looks good for Racecar. Looks like all windows were removed except wind screen. Don’t know when it was painted. Was fresh when I purchase in 2014.
Dear Seller,
Can you please show pictures of the original books/manual?
How can a buyer know that the car has the original engine?
Any body/chassis crash damage repairs?
Do you have a print out of the ECU values?
Any spare wheels?
What was the quality of the respray of the car (windows-out?), and how long ago was that?
Thank you very much.

100 octane unleaded.
I had serviced the car, oil, filter, Brake fluid change checked all suspension and Brakes/Rotors. No time on the car since the service. Car has 235 hours on Chassis. 35 hours on engine according to the ECU. I do not have the documentation from the Brazil Series of the Engine Rebuild. See other response on Shocks and Axles.
Motor built by the Brazil GT3 Cup Challenge. I bought the car from the series. The car had 3.4 hours on the ECU engine time. I have put 33 hours on the engine since 2014 when purchased. The axles were change by me and have 30 hours on them they are the Black axles. Front shocks were rebuilt by Glenn in Florida with 6 hours on them. Car has a dash? The car was used in Sprint races no fuel cell required for the Brazil Cup Challenge.
The car is sold with a bill of sale with a copy of the EPA import certificate
What type of fuel does this car run on?
I'm confused. Could you please clarify?
"Showing 0 engine hours since its last complete service completed by Advanced Automotive,"
"ECU Engine Operating hours since last service: 35"
What is a "complete service"?
My question, I'm sure shared by others:
How many hours since last documented full engine rebuild?
Any documentation of service to transmission? Dampers? Axles?
In my mind, the factory fuel tank is more likely to be seen as a benefit than a detriment to many buyers.
Thanks!
Who built motor? Have shocks been rebuilt within last couple of years? Axles? I haven’t seen one without a dash or a fuel Cel .... ever, ... I know they were delivered this way; no Cel /dash.
What type of title listed as “clear and in hand” does a factory Cup car come with?
