A 997 generation launch model, this 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera S Coupe comes finished in Black and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. The car has been customized with a set of OZ wheels and KW coilover suspension and has been rigorously maintained by its owner including a previous clutch and IMS bearing replacement. It was sold new in Texas and has resided in California since 2005 where it is now being offered for auction at no reserve showing approximately 161k miles on the odometer.
This 997 is finished in Black with matching 19” OZ Superleggera wheels. The Carrera S can be distinguished from an entry-level model by its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. The seller describes the exterior to have been kept in good overall condition, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report showing moderate damage to the right side in December 2022.
The black leather interior includes optional heated and power-operated seats as well as the Bose High-End Sound Package. A door lock mechanism was replaced under the current ownership in addition to an A/C system recharge and repair to the glovebox strap. The seller notes that the sunroof is currently inoperable and there is a slight tear in the driver's seat.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The IMS bearing and clutch are said to have been replaced at 141,797 miles and an upgraded KW V3 coilover suspension was installed and aligned at 150,239 miles. Other maintenance items addressed within the last several thousand miles included the replacement of the crankshaft position sensor, oxygen sensors, transmission mounts, drive belt, tensioner rollers, front brake pads and rotors, a coolant hose, battery, and a full 10k-mile with new fluids and filters.
This sale will include maintenance records, the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, and a clean title.

@ptgltw sorry she has not to my knowledge
Has she benefited from a respray?
@Mrbognar within 8k miles
Also curious about the bearing. Who replaced it, how was it replaced, etc? About 10% had issues with that bearing. Replacing at 141k miles could be an indication that there were no issues, but it could also point to failure. Just curious...
Bid in the amount of $24,650
How many miles went between oil changes? 10k is factory standard, but on high mileage models like this I'm curious how gentle on the engine the previous owners were. Thanks!
@MarkTodo absolutely. I have them all ready to go with the car
Do the removed parts come with the car?

@OMGT3 I don’t see a photo of the invoice for the repairs or the photo of damages. Just interested who did the work and if suspension was affected.

@Hemibob I have invoices for all of the repairs. There's a huge folder which I took a pic of and shared. The damage was to stock lobster wheel and tire which have been replaced. i uploaded the pic of that Bob
Do you have an invoice for repairs? Any photos of the car when it was damaged?

I LOVE that this car has been driven - as it was meant to be! I had 160k on my Panamera 4S before I traded it in and while the value was driven out of it, there was still plenty f fun still there for he next guy!
This is a beautiful car with interesting modifications: the buyer is going to get a a great ride at what looks to be a great price. GLWTA!

@BoxsterBill no that’s just how i drive :)
Hi, in the driving video,, it looks like you are holding shifter in place when taking off in 1st gear. Does the transmission want to jump out of gear? Thanks
Another Funny thing, in California on the outskirts of riverside I had to pay $7.59 a gallon for premium 91 octane, I get to Texas like 20 hours latter and im paying $4.89 for shell 93. I honestly need to thank California and their laws because the guy that had the turbo for 14 years got tired of putting the car back to stock for smogging purposes. He also gave me $7k worth of performance parts that I immediately installed on the car. Heck I run my 99 with a Fabspeed x pipes no cats. It pases inspection like a charm.
@luis.seneriz gotta love Texas.
Awesome things happen at 3 am in the morning driving to the max. Also we have ethanol free 92 octane here in Texas and shell V power 93. When I loaded the first shell 93 tank on the turbo the car really woke up. Let’s see if I can buy this one.

@luis.seneriz would be a fun trip. Youll enjoy her!!

Driving my 03 turbo from riverside to Houston last year. I bought the car here April last year as a birthday present. This may be another birthday present for me and a lot of smiles on the road banging gears. Thanks
