This 997 has a non serviceable IMS - i sent it to my mechanic to have the IMS done as preventative maintenance prior to sale and when they had it apart they advised me the IMS was not serviceable. While it was apart i had the intermediate shaft seal replaced (copy of invoice in gallery)
L&N Engineering has some good info on their site about the two different IMS types
