Presented in the traditional Porsche shade of Guards Red over Sand Beige upholstery, this 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera S Coupe offers a 6-speed manual transmission connected to its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. The car was also ordered with the Aluminum Look Switch Panel Package, Sport Chrono Package Plus, metal door sills with model insignia, and more. Showing just over 15k miles on the odometer, this one-owner Carrera S is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Florida.
This Coupe is finished in Guards Red (L84A) and can be distinguished from the standard Carrera by its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlamps with washers, fog lights, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and 19” Carrera S wheels wrapped in Michelin tires from 2023. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report and paint meter readings.
The cabin features Sand Beige standard leather upholstery with a matching Alcantara headliner and floor mats. Optional details include the Aluminum Look Switch Panel Package, metal door sills with model insignia, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus which adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard. Driver amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows with one-touch functions, power heated side mirrors, and PCM with a radio and CD player.
Rated at 355 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque, the Carrera S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine sending power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PSM), an Active Braking Differential (ABD), and Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR) come standard along with fixed 4-piston brakes with cross-drilled discs. The seller adds that the crankshaft seals were recently serviced along with an oil change, and a host of maintenance records will accompany the sale.
This sale will include a clean title, a window sticker, and owner’s manuals.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a one-owner clean CARFAX example. It is a nice example of a low-mileage car.”

Hi @Asvertes-
This 997 has a non serviceable IMS - i sent it to my mechanic to have the IMS done as preventative maintenance prior to sale and when they had it apart they advised me the IMS was not serviceable. While it was apart i had the intermediate shaft seal replaced (copy of invoice in gallery)
L&N Engineering has some good info on their site about the two different IMS types
The age old question… IMS bearing info needed.

Why didn’t the recent sale close?
Hi - I didn't see the CarFax in the files or pics. Could you include? Thanks
