Reportedly one of 700 examples produced during the 996’s final model year, this 2005 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black full leather. It features a 6-speed manual transmission, heated seats with lumbar support, the Bose High-End Sound Package, the Xenon Headlamp Package, and Exclusive stainless-steel exhaust pipes. Enhancements include an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, a new clutch, and rear main seal, along with upgraded Racing Dynamics headers, a Fister-modified exhaust, a Flat 6 Motorsports cold air intake, a 997 GT3 short shifter, a Porsche Classic PCCM Plus head unit, lowering springs, and more. Acquired by the seller on PCARMARKET in 2023, this 996 is now being offered for auction once again out of New York with approximately 54k miles showing on the odometer.
The 4S sports wider fenders than the contemporary Carrera along with a unique rear reflector band and side skirts, bumpers, and red brake calipers shared with the 911 Turbo. This Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and features optional xenon headlamps, stainless steel exhaust pipes, and 18” 911 Turbo wheels with colored Porsche crest center caps. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Black full leather upholstery, an Alcantara headliner, and optional heated front seats with lumbar support. Additional amenities include automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. Upgrades include a Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) Plus head unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Porsche 997 GT3 short shifter, and a 996 GT3 Alcantara shift boot & gear knob.
This Carrera 4S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine rated at 315 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission while stopping power comes from Turbo-derived fixed 4-piston brakes and 330mm cross-drilled discs at each corner. Under prior ownership, an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit, new rear main seal, and new clutch were installed, along with upgraded Racing Dynamics headers, a Fister exhaust modification, and a Flat 6 Motorsports cold air intake. Upon the seller’s acquisition, new front brake rotors and pads, Bilstein shocks, and lowering springs were fitted.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a very clean and rare 2005 C4S!”

@jkikis The passenger side is the correct one for the car for a C4. The drivers is from a turbo. It doesn’t have the lines underneath the lens.

If car like this is previously sold on pcar it would be so helpful for pcar to provide the link to that auction in the write up. So many questions about the car would have answers on that previous auction and save all of us and the seller a lot of effort. The price it was sold makes no difference as this is a different market and buyers pay what they want to pay. It would be a positive enhancement to this auction site.
Any documentation on the IMS/RMS/Clutch service?
