Finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black interior upholstery, this 2005 Porsche 997 Carrera Coupe pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six. The car has been modified with genuine GT3 bumpers and exhaust, while factory options include Porsche Active Suspension Management, 19” Carrera Classic wheels, the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, the Power Seat Package, Porsche-crested headrests, and carbon fiber door sills. Showing less than 59k miles on the odometer, this 997 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Maryland.
Factory-finished in Arctic Silver Metallic, this Carrera has been customized with OEM 997 GT3 front and rear bumpers along with a center-mounted exhaust system. Additional exterior features include clear side indicators, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a “911” rear badge. Factory options include the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package and 19” Carrera Classic wheels with colored Porsche crests. The seller notes a small ding on the left rear quarter panel and minor curb rash on the right rear wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Black standard leather with optional exclusive Porsche-crested headrests and carbon fiber door sills with model insignias. Additional options include the Power Seat Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, navigation for PCM, and black floor mats with Porsche lettering. A 991.2 GT steering wheel has also been fitted. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Factory-rated at 325 HP and 273 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) was also selected, and the exhaust system has been modified with a genuine 911 GT3 heatshield and muffler, along with Supersprint catalytic converters and headers. The seller states that, upon their acquisition within the last four years, the IMS bearing was inspected and confirmed to be an upgraded unit. At the same time, the clutch kit, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, alternator cable, and battery positive cable were replaced. Additionally, a bore scope inspection revealed no cylinder scoring, and an oil analysis returned clean results.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and an air pump.

@caul64 Thank you for your previous response. Are the original bumpers included in this auction? Also, why was the engine lid replaced (pic 75)?
Bid in the amount of $22,000
does the exhaust have cats?
The CARFAX report shows the exterior color as black until 2019, in both Florida and Tennessee.
But the description and pictures indicates that it's always been silver.
I'm assuming the reporting to CARFAX was incorrect and that the car has always been silver.
Please confirm.

@abaumer sorry forgot to answer the question about rust no there is no rust on the car.
@abaumer I paid for the paint on the bumpers if you did not bring that to my attention i would not notice that’s how the receipt was written that was when I replaced the bumpers for the GT3 ones last oil changed was about six weeks ago
Any indications of rust at all anywhere? If so, can you share pics?
Image 75 shows insurance paying for work but there are no events on carfax? Why was insurance paying for front and rear bumpers?
Last oil change was 2+ years and almost 9k miles. Has there been any oil changes since?
Bid in the amount of $11,000
@BR356 just checked my receipts the last one was done 4/21/23 whit 49945 miles, will get that uploaded

@tommeron I will add cold start video, driving video I don’t have the camera setup for that and I will try to find someone with a lift to get the underside I can’t get good pictures with the car on the ground.
@BR356 I would have to check my records to see what the mileage was but I have done two oil test i don’t remember the one that I have posted I will check and post both they both were clean, I will get a cold start video and post it the oil I used since I own the car is liqui moly 5/40 some one asked this question so I just want to let you know the bumpers and the center muffler are all Porsche original GT3 also all heat shield are Porsche original
I note on the oil test, a date of 2022. No mileage noted. Why and how many miles since the test? Same with Bore test 2022 no mileage! What oil are you using? Have you used same throughout ownership? Potentially a great driver with some service work on brakes needed? I'd love to own it. Cold start video please!
@fiascoj I just posted the video of the exhaust sound, yes I do have the bumpers I don’t have a DME report
@seller Any possibility of adding driving and cold start videos?
And could you add photos of the underside?
Hi Seller, Would you mind posting a video that captures the sound of the exhaust? Also, do you still have the original bumpers and a DME report?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
