Acceleration from 0-60 MPH can occur in less than 5 seconds while stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes and cross-drilled discs at each corner. The CARFAX report shows six service history entries, and no outstanding maintenance items have been reported by the seller.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Very Clean 2005 Carrera. New Mats Car has less than 48k Miles.”

I am out of town till tomorrow. I can get a pic of the tire thread. Tires all match--just different dates of manufacture. I haven't taken the tires and rims off to inspect the brakes. I have only driven the car about 400 miles-- I bought a 06 automatic and now have 3. Thats the only reason I am selling this one
The previous owner lived in Louisiana where the state requires yearly inspections on lights and windshields. They must have just put any number in for that inspection. The previous owner had the car since 2017 but had never titled it. Thats why you see a MS title being issued on 7/16 to him then again on 8/24 to myself. He needed to get it title before he could sell it to me.
Any details on the 2017 mileage inconsistency?
Can you get a photo of the tire tread ? All matching tires? How are the brake pads n rotors?
@idealtechies no hard shifting. The previous owner did his own oil changes no major maintenance has been done that I know of
@idealtechies they are.
Bid in the amount of $7,750
do you know what is the last major maintenance done on the car or any at all? any issue with hard shifting 1st and 2nd gear or notchieness feeling?
can you verify if the ppf rock guards on the sides of the car cracking?
@Pending no
Any smells in the interior?
Paint meter readings have been added to the listing page
@idealtechies paint readings range from
3.77 up to 4.6 mils on side panels. Hood was 5.13mil. Not sure I am working this reader correctly
The production date on this car was 11/2004, so it almost certainly has the older, smaller IMS bearing. The good news is that it can be replaced with an improved version, but it will need to be done at some point.
@idealtechies I will work on the paint readings today and see if I can find anyone local that has the equipment to for DME report--No rust of any issues. Also the guy I purchased the car from tried to find out if he should replace the IMS..He couldn't confirm if that engine had a different IMS bearing.. The only way would be to pull it apart.
@Tmmorgan1974 Thanks paint readings would be great. Also are you able to get a DME report on the Over Rev report? Love the color. Any rust or issues to be aware of?
Bid in the amount of $7,500
@idealtechies Sorry unfortunately nothing. But I don't believe the car has been repainted. I purchased in August then just purchased a newer automatic last month so I decided to sell this one.
Any Maintiance records? Clutch? Service? Has the car been repainted? Any paint depth readings?
@idealtechies No It hasn’t.
Has the ims been replaced or addressed?
