We are pleased to present this low-mileage 2005 Pontiac GTO finished in Phantom Black Metallic over a black leather interior. In 2003, the GTO returned to Pontiac's lineup for the first time in nearly 30 years and was assembled in Australia by Holden throughout its three-year production run. Reworked for the 2005 model year, a host of revisions were implemented including a larger 6.0L LS2 V8 engine, larger front brakes borrowed from the Corvette, hood scoops, and dual polished exhaust outlets with a revised rear fascia. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, a rear spoiler, fog lights, 18″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an audio system with a six-disc CD changer. With just over 10k miles currently showing on the odometer, this highly original and increasingly collectible Pontiac GTO is being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
Outside, the Phantom Black Metallic finish on this GTO is highlighted by traditional Pontiac hood scoops, GTO fender badging, and a painted rear spoiler. The seller notes that front-end paint protection film was applied in March of 2021 along with a ceramic coating, additional images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. Optional 18″ five-spoke alloy wheels come dressed in original Bridgestone Potenza tires showing date codes from 2004.
Inside, you will find a black interior with power-adjustable front seats trimmed in leather featuring GTO-logo embroideries. Contrasting red stitching accents the leather-wrapped emergency brake handle, gear selector, and steering wheel. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, rear bucket seats, and an audio system with a six-disc CD changer. Red instrument dials include a 200-mph speedometer and a tachometer as well as gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.0L LS2 V8 engine which was factory rated at 400 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, providing for a 0-60 time of approximately 4.8 seconds. Limited service information is available, and the seller reports no outstanding maintenance items at this time.

Looks like a very nice GTO! Good luck with the sale. Couple questions. Are you able to provide some additional undercarriage photos including any areas with surface corrosion? I'm only seeing 3 photos, and one is blurry. Any paintwork done on the car? Also, when did you purchase the vehicle and what states have you had it in? Clean title in your name? The current history report shows additional entries newer than the Carfax shown in the photos. Within the past 12 months I'm seeing entries in MI, OH, FL, and NY. Please clarify.
