Beginning as the most powerful SL-Class outside of the AMG-tuned model range, this 2005 Mercedes-Benz SL600 has been further enhanced with the Brabus T12 performance package which increased output of the twin-turbocharged V12 engine up to 580 HP and over 660 lb.-ft of torque. The car also features a Brabus bumper and spoiler, 20” Brabus wheels, and a black Brabus Mastic leather interior with red stitching. Originally sold in California where it was continually maintained and registered up until 2020, this extensively upgraded SL600 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada showing approximately 25k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Black (040), this SL has been fitted with a Brabus front bumper cover and rear spoiler along with Lorinser side skirts and a modified lower rear valence. The seller notes the front-end styling was also updated to the 2009 model year look under previous ownership. The car rides on a set of polished 20” Brabus Monoblock VI wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero tires. Other details include six Brabus-branded tailpipes, red brake calipers with Brabus lettering, and Brabus badging on the hood, trunk, and front fenders. The retractable hardtop is said to have been recently serviced and the Active Body Control (ABC) suspension has been lowered with a Brabus control module. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is trimmed in black Brabus Mastic leather with red stitching and gloss-black accents. Other detailed include Brabus pedal covers and illuminated door sills in stainless steel, embroidered headrests, chrome Brabus door lock pins, and a black leather steering wheel with a red 12 o’clock marker. This SL also comes factory equipped with heated and ventilated multicontour seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a Harmon-Kardon sound system, COMAND infotainment with navigation, a wind deflector, glass sunroof, and dual-zone automatic climate control.
The twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V12 engine is paired with the Brabus T12 performance package for an advertised output of 580 HP and 663 lb.-ft of torque using larger turbochargers, a modified tune, and Brabus sport exhaust. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 5-speed 5G TRONIC automatic transmission. The CARFAX report shows routine service history at the same dealership in Newport Beach, California, from 2004 up until 2018. The seller notes an oil change was completed most recently in July 2022.
This sale will include a clean title and the original owner’s manuals.

@ilh It appears that it was purchased then sent to Brabus, Fletcher Jones of New port Beach did the Brabus Body modifications in Aug of 2005.
@Frosty I only mean the Brabus conversion docs not service records. Was the car purchased from MB then sent to Brabus or was it purchased with the conversion already...?
@ilh Transport from Van to California would be aprox $2200.00, Customs Broker ~$250.00.
@ilh I'm guessing there's 75 pages of records starting at 600 miles in 2005.
@Frosty can you upload any to the gallery?
Any idea on approx. cost to import back to CA?
I have service documents starting at 690 miles.
@ilh Yes there is, I have all the original receipts.
Is there any documentation around the Brabus upgrade/conversion?

Yes very straight forward to import, it’s a x-USA car, I’m happy to help you with that, I have all the contacts in place for, brokerage, transport, etc. Happy to help.
Is it reasonably straight forward to purchase and to ship to USA, Vancouver, WA?
The front is from a 2009, done under previous ownership.
Car looks great but I'm confused, isn't this a newer than 2009 facia? The ad says 05. Kindly explain.
One hell of a Car here. GL
