Launched in 2002 as a two-seater convertible with a removable hardtop and retro styling, the final 11th-generation Ford Thunderbird is an homage to the original version from the 1950s. The final year of production coincided with the model’s 50th anniversary, and a special Cashmere Edition was offered with 1,500 examples produced in total. It features unique Cashmere Metallic Tri-Coat paint, Cashmere premium leather seats, and a commemorative plaque on the dashboard. Purchased by the seller in April 2024, this 2005 Ford Thunderbird 50th Anniversary Cashmere Edition is now being offered for auction out of New York with under 7k miles showing on the odometer.
The Cashmere Edition features a special Cashmere Metallic Tri-Coat paint color with a color-matched grille and includes 50th Anniversary fender badging as a 2005 model. Exterior features include a beige power cloth convertible top, a removable body-colored hardtop with porthole windows, dual power mirrors, a polished windshield frame, a hood scoop, automatic headlamps, fog lights, dual polished exhaust tips, and 17” 7-spoke chromed aluminum wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
This limited-edition Thunderbird showcases a Cashmere interior with premium leather seat inserts and a commemorative badge on the dashboard. Accessories include power-adjustable seats, a power-adjustable steering column, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo system.
Power comes from a Jaguar AJ35 3.9-liter V8 that delivers up to 280 HP and 286 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 5-speed automatic transmission. Standard equipment includes four-wheel independent suspension, variable-assist power steering, and four-wheel ventilated disc brakes with ABS. No outstanding service items are reported at this time.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.

I Just checked the top. It is pristine and not a mark on it. The "creases" in the photo are just shadows.
I have sent a few photos over to PCar and hopefully they will be able to put them up sometime soon
Bid in the amount of $5,888
I took the top off in May and put it into the storage shed. It was perfect at the time without a mark on it. I see the creases you're referring to and hope it's just a function of bad photography. Will go out to the shed and try to get a couple of better pictures
Great photography. This is the car I need to purchase for my high school granddaughter. You state there is a hard top but no photos of the hardtop on the car. Photos 131-133 I assume show the hardtop plus photo 133 appears to show creases in the hard top. Is it damaged? Any chance of seeing a photo of the hardtop on the car or at least on the garage floor or driveway to show no damage. IF damaged, any estimates to repair?
