Perhaps the most iconic domestic supercar of all time, the first-generation Ford GT evokes the four-time Le Mans winning GT40 race car with retro styling and a manual gearbox paired with its supercharged V8 engine. This Ford GT is one of only 171 examples to have come finished in Speed Yellow Clearcoat during the entire production run and was factory equipped with all available options consisting of black racing stripes, red brake calipers, forged alloy wheels, and a McIntosh stereo system. Driven less than 15k miles since it was delivered to its original owner in New York, this rare Ford GT is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
Constructed of lightweight aluminum body panels of an extruded aluminum spaceframe, the Ford GT includes an aggressive rear diffuser, side air intakes, a vented hood, a front splitter, and a transparent engine cover. This example is finished in Speed Yellow Clearcoat with optional over-the-top stripes in black, brake calipers in red, and 18”/19” BBS forged alloy wheels. The car is preserved under full paint protection film and rides on a set of Michelin Pilot AS4S 235/45/18 tires in front (25.22 and 28.22) with Bridgestone Scuderia 345/35/19 tires in the rear (47.21 and 37.21).
The cabin is trimmed in Ebony leather including manually adjustable carbon fiber bucket seats with GT40-style ventilation grommets. Accessories include an optional McIntosh stereo system, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, aluminum pedals, a magnesium center console, pushbutton ignition, and a three-spoke leather steering wheel.
Paired with a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, the mid-mounted 5.4-liter V8 DOHC engine delivers up to 550 HP and 500 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a Ricardo 6-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Maintenance history provided on the CARFAX report includes four tires mounted and balanced in September 2022 as well as a safety and emissions inspection completed by a Ford dealer in January 2023.
This sale will include a clean title, a car cover, a battery charger, and a set of aftermarket floor mats.

@SofiaLeo Due to the PPF on the car, the paint meter readings are pretty skewed but no glaring spread. I will try and get them posted today. If you want them in the mean time, I am happy to email them to you.
@Oliver1967 We do not have the window sticker available but this car does have all 4 options which were available on the Ford GT (Racing Stripe, McIntosh Radio, Painted Calipers, and the 10 Spoke Forged Alloy Wheels).
As for the airbag being replaced, that was part of an Airbag recall (14V-787) from what I can find from my research. No accidents as far as I can see.
Bid in the amount of $350,000

Hello all, We appreciate you checking out our 2005 Ford GT. It is truly an awesome example and deserves an equally awesome home who will enjoy it like it was meant to. If there are any questions along the way, please feel free to comment here or reach out directly to me and I will help you as much as I can. Thank you!
Yellow with all options should do well. 15k miles and new Shoes tells me it's ready for some more driving. Console and spark plug covers look good. The yellow will ensure higher resale for years IMHO. GL
