The first-generation Ford GT was introduced in 2005 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Ford and pays tribute to the original GT40 Mark II race car that was victorious at Le Mans during the late 1960s. The Ford GT was widely considered the first modern supercar built in the United States, featuring an aluminum chassis, Brembo brakes, carbon-fiber bucket seats, and a supercharged 5.4L V8 with a 6-speed manual transmission. This particular example is finished in Centennial White with Sonic Blue racing stripes over an Ebony leather interior and was ordered with optional racing stripes, BBS forged wheels, and a premium McIntosh stereo. Delivered new to Battlefield Ford of Manassas, Virginia, this Ford GT was acquired by its second owner from Texas in early 2020 with just 200 miles driven from new. Now showing just over 2k miles on the odometer, this Ford GT is being offered for auction by its seller out of Texas.
The Ford GT is built over an extruded-aluminum space frame, with aluminum body panels finished in Centennial White (WT) with optional Sonic Blue (SN) over-the-top racing stripes and bodyside stripes with “FORD GT” logos. Aerodynamic features include a front splitter, vented hood, a rear lip spoiler, side air intakes, a flat underbody, and a finned rear diffuser. Other exterior equipment consists of a dual center-exit exhaust system, HID headlamps, a forged aluminum fuel door, fog lights, power-adjustable mirrors, and solar-tinted glass. This GT rides on the optional 18” front/19” rear BBS forged wheels mounted with original Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar tires. Factory red-painted brake calipers have been installed and the original grey brakes will accompany the sale as well.
The cockpit is trimmed in Ebony leather upholstery with manually adjustable Sparco carbon fiber-backed bucket seats with harness pass-throughs and GT40-style ventilation grommets. Interior details include aluminum-rimmed GT40-style instrumentation, GT40-inspired dash-mounted toggle switches, a cast magnesium center console with rotary climate controls, an aluminum ball shifter, handbrake, and Ford-branded door sill guards. The driver is supplied with air conditioning, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, and the optional McIntosh stereo system which equips a subwoofer mounted between the seats.
The GT is powered by a mid-mounted 5.4-liter DOHC V8 with an aluminum block, cylinder heads, and pistons in addition to a Lysholm screw-type supercharger, a dry-sump lubrication system, and a water-to-air intercooler. Up to 550 HP and 500 lb-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a Ricardo 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, allowing the GT to reach 60 MPH in as little as 3.3 seconds with a top speed over 200 MPH. An inspection and emissions test was performed when the car was acquired by the current owner and there is no service or maintenance said to be needed at this time.
This sale will include original brakes, tires, and a clean title.

Good eyes Mitch odd for a Texas car, still love the car
@MitchM29 no track use. I am not aware of any valve cover corrosion. The motor is clean and has no leaks. The engine bay could use a nice steam and detail.
@HK_Motorcars Any explanation/known cause of the apparent motor valve cover corrosion showing in the PIXS? Has this car ever been tracked, that you know of?
@Dozer no worries. Original paint and full PPF!
@HK_Motorcars sorry just read this!
@Dozer @Dozer
Is the paint all original? Any clear bra?
Please note that this car has full PPF installed.
@HK_Motorcars - Excellent. Cool to see that it did have all four options from the factory, thank you! Fully loaded!
@TheGuesser they have put it up in the gallery.
Additional content has been added to the listing gallery.
Can the seller post a copy of the window sticker with the original MSRP and options listed? The description mentions it was ordered with three of the four options available and that the red calipers were added. Just wanted to confirm what was shipped with the car originally. Thanks.
