Based on the Mercedes-Benz R170 SLK-Class, the Chrysler Crossfire is a rear-wheel-drive two-seater sports car produced by Karmann in Germany from 2004 to 2008. This 2005 example is a Crossfire Limited Roadster version finished in Graphite Metallic over a Dark Slate Gray leather interior and features a rare 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.2-liter V6 engine. Driven approximately 19k miles from new, this Crossfire is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Pennsylvania.
The Crossfire’s bodywork is characterized by hood and fender strakes, a silver windscreen frame, and a rounded rear end with a speed-activated rear spoiler. Other details include silver door handles and roll hoops, dual center-mounted tailpipes, projector headlamps, front fog lights, and 18”/19” seven-spoke alloy wheels. This example is finished in Graphite Metallic and rides on BF Goodrich g-Force Comp-2 A/S tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features a pair of heated and power-adjustable bucket seats in Dark Slate Gray leather complemented by a silver-trimmed center console. Accessories include a leather-wrapped four-spoke steering wheel, power windows and mirrors, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, embossed headrests, stainless-steel Crossfire logo door sills, black rubber floor mats, and an AM/FM CD stereo.
Power comes from a Mercedes-Benz 3.2-liter M112 V6 engine rated at 215 HP and 229 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission and stopping power comes from four-wheel disc brakes. The car is also equipped with a touring suspension, traction control, and electronic stability control. The seller indicates the engine’s valve cover gaskets and rear main seal have been replaced.
This sale will include a clean title.
