The Chevrolet SSR was a hardtop convertible pickup truck manufactured from 2003 to 2006, featuring retro styling inspired by Chevy’s Advance Design pickup trucks of the late 1940s and early 1950s. It was equipped with a power-retractable steel hardtop designed by Karmann and an LS2 V8 producing up to 390 HP. This example was delivered new in Pennsylvania and is said to have been kept in a climate-controlled collection in Delaware before relocating to West Virginia where it was acquired by the seller in July of 2021. It was originally optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, the 1SB Preferred Equipment Group, the Driver Convenience Package, Cargo Compartment Trim Package, the Body-Colored Accent Package, and SSR floormats. Showing just over 3k miles on the odometer, this 2005 Chevrolet SSR is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New Jersey.
This SSR was ordered in Smokin’ Asphalt (41U) and is equipped with a power-operated retractable hardtop, a removable hard tonneau cover, silver running boards, fender flares, polished door handles, and twin exhaust outlets. The optional Cargo Compartment Trim Package provides inner cargo compartment carpeting with bed track covers and aluminum cargo strips. The polished 19”/20” wheels are mounted with Continental Cross Contact UHP tires from 2012. Additional images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in Ebony leather with a pair of heated bucket seats. Amenities include a BOSE premium sound system, power adjustment for the driver’s seat, air conditioning, cruise control, a driver information center, power and heated color-keyed side mirrors, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a digital clock, auxiliary gauges, and SSR-branded floormats.
Under the hood, the SSR is equipped with a 6.2L LS2 V8 factory rated at 390 HP and 305 lb.-ft of torque, sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec 6-speed manual transmission and 9.5” Eaton rear limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is accomplished in approximately 5 seconds. The seller reports a new battery was installed in preparation for sale.
This sale will include a clean title and original owner’s manuals.

Due to an issue with a third party vendor, bidders experienced screen update delays during this auction. To be fair to all, this auction will be extended to end on the next auction day (Mon 6/6). We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

This is without a doubt one of the lowest mileage 6 speed SSR's in existence. With the 6 speed manual trans and 6.0 motor it's such a blast to drive. The perfect example to add to your collection as values for a vehicle with this vehicle continue to rise. A low mileage example with an automatic is nice...but with a 6 speed, extraordinary.
We are happy to assist with nationwide transportation and a 30 day temp plate for anyone in need
Bid with confidence as you're buying from one of the best nationally known sellers of ultra low mileage vehicles!
Good luck to all. I can assure you another like it will not be found, or at least not for quite some time!
Best,
Andrew
@cnc I totally forgot to check when I was near the car today. Assume they are. If you wanted a new set we're happy to provide them at cost

@Larry911 had responded to your email about this
Can you verify if the tires have been replaced if they are original or not can you check the date code on the tires and let me know how old they are since the car hasn’t been driven and I don’t know if they were ever replaced the tires thank you for your consideration
@Larry911 Not at all. Past experience with these suggest that these parts show surface rust regardless of mileage. We had two other ultra low mileage examples and they looked very similar.
The body and interior are exceptional. There is nothing at all of concern on the undercarriage. This is without a doubt one of the best looking and lowest mileage 6 speed SSR's in existence.
I’m looking at the photos of the undercarriage there seems to be a lot of rust on the differential and other spots is there any rust on the panels show or anything of that nature please advise thank you
