This 2005 Acura NSX-T is one of 54 examples to have come finished in New Formula Red during the final model year and pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with a Comptech-supercharged 3.2-liter DOHC V6 engine. The car has also been modified with an aftermarket fuel-injection system, Comptech exhaust system, and 18” SSR wheels. It was acquired by the seller in 2022 and has since undergone maintenance including the replacement of the timing belt and spark plugs. The supercharged NSX-T is now being offered for auction out of Texas showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer.
This NSX-T is a post-facelift NA2 example, identifiable by its fixed xenon HID headlamps, lower rear valence, revised taillights, side skirts, and rear spoiler with integrated LED brake light. The aluminum bodywork of this example is finished in New Formula Red with a matching removable hardtop. Some minor paint touch-ups are noted throughout the exterior as well as imperfections on the front spoiler. The car rides on 18” SSR GT3 wheels mounted with Michelin tires dated from 2015 and 2020.
The Onyx leather interior includes power-adjustable sport seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, and a Bose sound system. The entranceways feature serialized stainless-steel sill plates and the footwells are lined with Acura-branded floor mats. Some wear is present on the driver’s seat bolster.
Featuring dual overhead camshafts and VTEC variable valve timing, the 3.2-liter C23B V6 engine has been upgraded with a Comptech supercharger kit and exhaust system as well as an aftermarket fuel injection system. A 6-speed manual transmission sends power to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential. Service carried out since 2022 is said to include the replacement of the timing belt, spark plugs, battery, alternator, oxygen sensor, oil, and draining of the fuel tank.
This sale will include a clean title.

I believe the Complete Comptech Package back in 2005/2006 was about $20 K if you got the Supercharger, Headers, Exhaust, Short Shift Kit and Cold Air Intake

@RetroOrville Your Welcome. Comptech Supercharger Package Really gives the NSX the HP it needed and is bulletproof. Very Reliable. I have owned mine 11 years and put 6K miles on it just driving down to Big Sur and back on HWY One here in Monterey. Winner is going to love this car!!! New Formula Red is the same color as all 51 Zanardi Editions produced
@mpgandco: Thank you. Did not know those low production numbers.
Only 248 Cars were produced for the last year.,2005. Only 20 of those were New Formula Red with Black Interior
Carb legal in Calif with correct Carb Sticker on Fire Wall.
White flag is out bidders. Final lap. Do you want it? Thanks everyone for your bids and comments! IMHO, I think the wheels give it an edge and period correct.
Dealer’s bidding on cars from other dealers. Just seems funny to me. If you put less than 1k miles a year on a car did you actually ever drive it ???? Dealer’s deal, collectors collect, I’m just a driver I guess
Bid in the amount of $105,000
I own this exact same car but mine only has 16 k miles and is Stock Looking. Mine also has ALL the Comptech Go Fast Goodies on it that were installed at the Dealer when the car was Brand New. The Supercharger and Exhaust makes the car what it should have been in the First Place. Nothing like hearing the Supercharger Whining right behind your head. I would try to get a set of Stock Wheels for the winning bidder. GLWTA

@skywalker27612 : Correct. Includes car cover and service records.
I assume no original parts (wheels, exhaust, etc)? Thx
TubeGuy: Please review the detail in the receipts from my body shop. I had them correct everything. I cannot speak for previous owners, but remember it is 18 years old. Even more important, all major maintenance has been done.
Can't believe you are letting go of this. Hard to find a later supercharged NSX. Man. The only thing that bothers me is looking at the paint and the water spots that I see in picture 27 and the cracks rubber trim around the reflector in picture 50. Like it had been outdoors a bit.
I know I'm nitpicking but it just seems out of place for such a special car. I wonder how many touch-ups were done to the paint. It would be a bummer to have high expectations not being met.
I'm not a red guy except for this car. My garage is so full.

@Ohiolion: I do not have a dyno test on the car, but I am told the SC takes it to 375-380 HP. This is my third NSX, all second generation, and the first SC car. I can say the performance improvement is significant. Many have said that the stock NSX is a slow car (in today’s terms) that is fun to drive fast. With the SC, it is a pretty fast car, that is fun to drive fast!
Thanks, all you “first responders” for your questions and comments. Looks like we duplicated the posting of the service records (Sorry) which total $17,800 since I bought the car and this does not include the modifications completed by the previous owner. You will see that the major service work was completed including cleaning out some old / bad gas from the tank. I also had my local “high end” body shop touch up every paint flaw, scratch or chip. Power trunk latch and switch replaced and lid aligned, new alternator, battery, fluids, etc. Also added new mats. Car cover also included.
