Topping the model range for Porsche’s first-generation Cayenne, this 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo is finished in Black over a Havanna and Sand Beige Smooth Leather interior. Powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 factory rated at 450 HP, this example is further optioned with a moonroof, a compass display, the High Gloss Light Wood Package, a High Gloss Wood-trimmed steering wheel, and more. This Cayenne Turbo is now being offered for auction by its second owner out of New Mexico with approximately 116k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to the standard Porsche Cayenne, the Turbo model includes a more aggressive front end with larger grilles, a revised power dome hood, red brake calipers, and quad square exhaust tips. This example is finished in Black and features an optional moonroof, 18” collapsible spare tire, and colored Porsche-crested wheel hub covers. It rides on black-finished 19” Cayenne Design 19 wheels wrapped in older tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, occupants are greeted with Havanna and Sand Beige Smooth Leather complemented by the High Gloss Light Wood Package and a High Gloss Wood-trimmed steering wheel. A compass display was also opted for, and an upgraded Porsche Classic Communication Management (PCCM) system with Apple CarPlay has been installed.
A twin-turbocharged 4.5-liter V8 DOHC engine generates a factory-rated 450 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with Porsche Traction Management (PTM). Other features include speed-sensitive power steering, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and vented disc brakes with fixed 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers on the rear.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, an air pump, a compressor hose, roadside flags, and various extra parts.
The seller would like you to know: “I’ve named this car Cheyenne, she has spent her lifetime in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and has always been put to sleep in a garage. I am the second owner. Cheyenne is special, please give her a good home.”

@ccw108 Me too! I really tried to make it work to keep her but... life. We have had many cars (a ridiculous amount) and this one I will miss.
Wish I could have extra garage space to keep this beauty, GLWS!

Bid in the amount of $4,500
@Passion4Porsche the interior is very clean, normally there is a lot of creasing in the leather for a car of this age. You guys took great care of it
Just to remind everyone that everything works and with the upgraded PCCM it connects Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth so its compatible with the latest tech. And its such a BLAST to drive! Thanks for looking.
@Nprest2 Good Luck! You really won't regret it. I love this car but it just doesn't make sense for us to keep her.
Trying to see if I can acquire Cheyenne, let’s go. Wohoo!

@Nprest2 Did the differential fluid at 98k when we got. yes all breather hoses updated thro the years.
Bid in the amount of $2,799
Do you remember when the differential fluid was changed?
Per the maintenance records it appears that the original owner never changed it and the recommended interval is 80-90k miles
Also the very last page of the service records show a turbo breather hose was recommended - was this work ever done?
Bid in the amount of $2,100
@Cayman987 There is a few videos that I uploaded that I just realized aren't showing up on the listing so I just contacted PCar about so hopefully you will see those soon. Yes hindsight is 20/20 and when he did it it was just for his own peace of mind and no thoughts of ever selling it. BTW appropriate bid amount haha!
Can you post a video of the engine running? If you own a Porsche shop, it would have been nice to see pictures of the bores if they really have been inspected. Thanks.
Good Morning All! I just uploaded all the records I have from the previous owner. Since then my husband has maintained the vehicle so we don't have "record" of that. But I will say we own a Porsche Repair shop here in Santa Fe and he is the master tech and this was my personal vehicle that I drove my family around in so he made sure it was well maintained.
@Passion4Porsche any luck tracking down these records
Did the seller you bought it from also do their own oil changes?
Bid in the amount of $955
@jhudnall I have records but after I purchased the car I serviced it myself annually. I will dig up what I have. Has fresh oil now and spark plugs. Brake fluid diff fluid. Front Control arms ect… I will get more specifics tomorrow. Lots done
@Nprest2 differential fluid changed. Coolant pipes changed by dealer before i owned it. I don’t know why there is two records of that. Im the second owner. Air struts original but the struts tops done and all front control arms with poly bushing upper control arms. Coolant pipes changed from plastic to aluminum by the dealer. Also a few other hoses on the back of the engine. Engine has been checked and bores are in great shape.
@BigPCarGuy Coolant pipes updated by the dealer in 2009 at 50k miles. Title clean and clear. No leaks on the vehicle. Head linear is not sagging anywhere. Interior is in great condition.
In addition to the other questions asked, I am also interested to know if the coolant pipes have been updated to aluminum pipes?
Is the headliner sagging at all in the rear or anywhere else?
Is the title in hand and paid off?
Any leaks on the vehicle?
Has the differential fluid ever been changed? Can you please provide the intervals
Does the car still have the glued coolant pipes? I saw in the service history the coolant hoses were changed under both owners, can you provide background
Are the air struts/pump still original?
Has engine ever been checked for bore scoring?
Weird, I've never seen a Carfax that has zero oil changes listed. Do you have any records of maintenance by chance?
