The range-topping version of Porsche’s first-generation Cayenne, this 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo features a twin-turbocharged V8 engine generating up to 450 HP. It comes finished in Black over a matching smooth leather interior and is equipped with optional Sport Seats, 20” Cayenne Sport Design wheels, bi-xenon headlamps, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), air suspension, and Turbo-specific styling. The car was previously owned by the seller’s friend who donated it to charity before the seller endeavored to relocate, purchase, and service it. This Cayenne Turbo is accompanied by a branded title and is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 165k miles showing on the odometer.

Compared to the standard Porsche Cayenne, the Turbo model includes a more aggressive front end with larger grilles, a revised power dome hood, red brake calipers, and quad square exhaust tips. This example is finished in Black with brushed aluminum trim, bi-xenon headlamps, and optional 20” Cayenne Sport Design wheels. The seller indicates a salvage title was issued after the car sustained damage to the front bumper cover and was donated by its previous owner. The front bumper cover has since been replaced. The seller adds that the paint remains in good overall condition apart from a fading clear coat on the roof and hood. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with black smooth leather upholstery and includes optional heated and power-adjustable front Sport Seats with memory settings. Other accessories include aluminum-look trim automatic climate control, a moonroof, a tire pressure monitoring system, an optional compass display, rear seat heating, parking sensors, stainless-steel door entry guards, a Bose sound system, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The seller indicates the airbag warning light is on the dashboard and is suspected to result from faulty wiring.

This Cayenne derives up to 450 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque from a twin-turbocharged 4.5-liter V8 engine. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission with Porsche Traction Management (PTM). Other features include speed-sensitive power steering, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), and vented disc brakes with fixed 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers on the rear. The seller indicates the oil and battery were replaced within the last 3k miles and the transmission fluid and brakes were found to be in good condition. The seller notes the tires need to be replaced, the rear liftgate does not stay open, the second remote key has not been programmed, and an intermittent warning light is related to the air suspension.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a spare tire, an air pump, and a branded title.

The seller would like you to know: “This car has lots of life left. I would keep going with it but had my Cybertruck delivered earlier than expected so won't be spending much time driving this one any longer. The right customer will really enjoy this car. Im just happy to see its progress from here on out. Good luck bidding!”

@AIR_MotorSports Don’t mention it. Happy to help! I don’t drive it much so hard to gauge oil consumption. No leaks detected when parked for long durations. I was planning an oil change soon but decided to part ways instead.

  • AIR_MotorSports (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

Thanks for the quick responses. How much oil does the car consume?

  • ImRa2916 (seller) 7 months, 2 weeksago

@AIR_MotorSports yes air suspension works fine. You’ll notice in the side profile pictures, there are two sets of pictures. One with the car at normal driving height and one with the car fully raised.

  • AIR_MotorSports (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

Also, can you confirm that the car has the air suspension and it works?

  • ImRa2916 (seller) 7 months, 2 weeksago

@AIR_MotorSports yes absolutely drivable. It’s turbos kick and the AC blows cold. No issues at all driving.

  • AIR_MotorSports (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

Is this car able to be driven as is, say for a fly in and drive back to Southern California?

  • ImRa2916 (seller) 7 months, 2 weeksago

@shops1344 I am fairly confident these are the originals (no records to indicate they have been upgraded) but no overheating issues at this mileage gives me confidence that this specific unit may have avoided that issue all together.

  • shops1344 (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

Hello. Could you advise if the vehicle has the original plastic coolant pipes or the upgraded metal pipes? Thank you.

  • HoHo (registered bidder) 7 months, 2 weeksago

@imra2916 Thanks - did a little more checking and it’s all over the place for insuring it just waiting to hear back from my agent.

@HoHo Sure. Before the car was donated it had a clear title. The ECM had gone bad and the car wasn’t starting so it was parked in front of buddies parents house for a while as my buddy tried to find a mechanic to identify the problem. One day the garbage truck on their street backed into the front bumper and at that point my buddy decided to just part with it. It was branded as a Salvage Title when it arrived at the Copart auction where I ended up tracking it down and purchasing it. I knew the issue was electronic and it would just need a new bumper cover so I replaced the ECM & the front bumper cover and when I went to register it at DMV they gave me a Rebuilt Title. I haven’t had any issues insuring it, it’s currently covered by AllState.

Can you tell me about the salvage/branded title
