Now up for auction is this 2004 Porsche Cayenne Turbo finished in an outstanding combination of Dark Teal Metallic over Havanna and Sand Beige smooth leather. Featuring a 4.5 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine, this first-generation 2004 example was configured at an original sticker price of over $92k with premium features including the Electric Comfort Package and Dark Burr Wood Package. Highlighting a clean 1-owner history of CARFAX, this Cayenne is now being offered in excellent overall condition by its seller out of Florida while showing approximately 64k miles on the odometer.
The rarely seen Dark Teal Metallic (Lago Green) finish is described to be in exceptional condition, detailed images are provided in the photo gallery. This Turbo model can be distinguished from a standard Cayenne by its more aggressive front fascia with larger air intakes as well as its red brake calipers and 18” Cayenne Turbo wheels. These wheels feature optional colored Porsche center crests and new Continental tires all around.
Inside, the driver is greeted by a beautifully presented Havanna and Sand Beige smooth leather interior with the optional Dark Burr Wood Package. Other factory options include a compass display, 6-disc CD changer, a moonroof, and the Electric Comfort Package which adds a garage door opener, a coming home device, an automatic operation rearview mirror, an electric trunk/hatch pull down, and driver and passenger door mirrors with automatic operation. The cabin is reported to be in pristine condition while retaining the full functionality of all gauges and accessories.
This first-generation Cayenne Turbo is powered by a 450 HP 4.5 L twin-turbocharged V8 engine that allows for a sprint from 0-60 MPH in as little as 5 seconds, an impressive feat considering the vehicle’s curb weight of 5,724 lbs. Power is delivered to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission. Other performance features include ride-height adjustable air springs, a torque-multiplying low-range gear ratio, and locking center and rear differentials. CARFAX shows routine annual inspections under the original ownership and the seller reports this Cayenne to be in fantastic driving condition with a recent oil service carried out in preparation for sale.
This sale will include a set of 2 keys, owner’s manuals, the original window sticker, and a clean title. Sporting a remarkable configuration, this 1-owner Cayenne Turbo is just waiting to be enjoyed.

The eBay listing was removed on 2/27, so was listed there for five days while also on this site in violation of the Seller’s Auction Agreement with Pcarmarket. It has been listed on Autobarn VW of Countryside, Countryside, IL since Sunday. I emailed them asking to test drive, and they responded “This vehicle is not ready for viewing or test driving at this time. This vehicle is a fresh arrival and is currently going through our safety/inspection process. I can reach out to you and let you know as soon as it is available for viewing and test driving to arrange an appointment for you”.
As noted earlier bidders should check Carrio Motors at the BBB website and Yelp. Problem is Pcarmarket removes comments if seller flags it.

@seller do you know if the green paint is original? Calipers seem to have been refinished since the "porsche" lettering is missing. Thanks.
Bid in the amount of $9,275
@robmsales we appreciate your response and support! Unfortunately, we do not have the small detail service answers because they weren’t provided to us. Carfax is the only thing we can go by which included this vehicle being a one owner. The condition of the car is one of the nicest we have seen.... we would like to assume the necessary services have been done but will not lie and say they are done as again we don’t have record proof. Everyone is welcome to a pre purchase inspection and they vehicle is 17 years old.
Hi All, this Turbo is not on eBay today, I just have a feeling that some of you are not getting the feedback as a lot of Porsche sales do, so just maybe you don't like the seller for lack of info and their late contact.
If that's the case just quite bidding and all is well- some of you are beating yourselves up with the question they can't answer
@bruce48127 hello! The vehicle is not on eBay. The vehicle was taken down off the website as its advertised exclusively through PCARMARKET. Also, the vehicle is open to PPI.. we are being 100% transparent.
Bid in the amount of $8,750
@F1Dude the vehicle is in excellent shape! Please feel free to have a PPI done! The vehicle is set for no reserve so she will be sold !
Overall looks pretty enticing to bid on.BUT...there could be a laundry list of things that could pile up in the near future etc. The Coolant pipe issue if not already has been addressed would be covered by Porsche. Class action lawsuit over the coolant pipe failure. Valve cover gaskets / AC , Driveshaft, Axle boots, Suspension, Brakes, Battery ( a bitch under the drivers seat), Headliner dropping in the rear cargo? Looks like it is in the picture with the lift gate open. Again the pictures look great overall but man this many years old and zero records is a risky one.
@Abuong01 hello! Sorry for delay I was out of town ! I don’t have info on cooling lines but you are welcome to have a PPI done.
@73914MC yes we charge $575 to all sales
@F1Dude hello! The vehicle is at a no reserve so not much Lol behind that! Best bet is bid bid bid because no matter what she is sold!
@Abuong01 hello! Sorry for delay in answering. I have been out of town. We don’t have any records outside of carfax. One owner vehicle in super clean shape.
@bruce48127 hello! I apologize for the delay. I have been out of town. I do not have service records outside of carfax to confirm the coolant tubes. You are welcome to have a 3rd party PPI done.
Is there really a $575 dealer fee on top of the auction amount?
@bruce48127 Amen. This auction is dead
@carrioj Come on seller. OK we get it – a dealer who bought it at auction so no service records, no problem. A competent Porsche mechanic can verify coolant tube material (plastic vs. metal) by visual inspection. I also am an interested bidder – but WILL NOT bid without knowing if coolant tubes have been done. The information gained (and subsequent increase in sale price) from a PPI would more than cover the cost. You have what appears to be a very nice vehicle here. Do yourself a favor and provide more information. Lack of information only fuels doubts.
Bid in the amount of $8,500
Seller - no responses on questions is not good. I'm out.
Good luck all.
@carrioj any word on coolant pipes and cardan shaft repairs and maintenance history.
@F1Dude headliner is good
@vero yes it can
@Abuong01 hello
Seller??
Can the car be inspected this weekend?
In the picture with the lift gate open, Is the headliner dropping in the rear / rear sitting area towards the rear cargo area?
Records ???? As mentioned from others please advise us . I own exactly the same color combo 2005 Cayenne S .
Bid in the amount of $8,250
Looking for service on Coolant PIpes (replacement) and Cardan Shaft, two main items on early Cayenne Turbo.
Bid in the amount of $7,000
Do you have service records for the Cayenne. If so, please post them.
That was what I was referring to in first email - thanks for asking the direct question. 2004 included in the "bad" years for Coolant Pipes.
Hi there - Do you know if the coolant pipes are original? I believe this year had issues and a lot of people had them replaced to avoid problems. Thank you
Bid in the amount of $5,000
@Abuong01 no leaks !
Beautiful cayenne. Have there been any issues with leaks or engine/cooling mechanisms. Leaks inside the vehicle.
