Up for auction is this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet presented in Seal Grey Metallic over a Graphite Grey full leather interior. With its legendary twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine sending 415 HP to all four wheels, the 996 Turbo has become one of the more desirable water-cooled Porsche’s on the market. This 2004 example has been optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, Porsche crested headrests and exclusive interior details. Said to be in excellent running order and accompanied by a clean Carfax report, this Turbo is ready to be enjoyed by a new owner while showing approximately 24k miles on the odometer.
The Seal Grey Metallic paint on this Turbo is said to be in great condition, although the front bumper had been refinished at some point for cosmetic purposes. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery. The 996 Turbo model features unique front and rear fascias, a widened body with rear side air intakes and a speed activated rear spoiler. This 2004 example is factory optioned with a black cabriolet top, chrome exhaust tips and 18” Turbo Twist wheels which come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2017.
The driver is situated in a Graphite Grey full leather interior with aluminum-look trim. A build sheet totaling over $134k showcases exclusive details including Porsche crested headrests, supple leather front and rear seats, a “Turbo” logo on the storage compartment lid, metal doorsill insignias and aluminum instrument dials. Special ordered amenities include heated front seats with lumbar support and a remote 6-disc CD changer. All gauges and accessories are reported to be fully functional and the cabin is stated to be in fantastic condition.
This 996 is equipped with a 3.6 L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine which is well regarded for its race-proven design and ability to resist IMS bearing related issues. 415 HP is distributed to all four wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission making for a 0-60 time of approximately 4 seconds. There have been no modifications made and this Turbo is said to be in brilliant driving condition with a full service carried out earlier this year.
The sale of this 996 will include a set of two keys and a clean Carfax report. If you’re in the market for a Porsche Cabriolet this season, this 996 Turbo makes an excellent choice.

@mtwestch We have been in business 46 years from the same location selling Cars of Special
Interest. We are proud to say our Internet Reviews are Sterling and readily available. Our local Porsche will not do a PPI. There are several third party pre purchase inspectors who will provide a thorough inspection complete with prodigious amounts of photos. One we would recommend is Lemonsquad.com
@raycoeuro Wow, now I feel ridiculous as I can see what you mean across various pics. My apologies. So I think what you're saying is that the passenger side will be consistent with the other angles of the car, which looks fine. I'm new to this market but have serious interest in purchasing a vehicle soon. Is there a way to get a Porsche Dealer PPI report either before or after purchase or are sales "As is"?
@Yurios This car has none of the issues you mention. I do not have a DME report
@mtwestch This 04 Turbo Cab is 100% original having never required any prior paintwork. The
marks you are seeing are reflections from the ground in the foreground.
Can you comment on any of the known issues this model is known to have
Coolant lines, wing hydraulics, 2nd gear pop out, slave cylinder/ clutch
DME report
All the pics of the passenger side exterior look as if there might have been some damage. What are all the marks on that side?

Any pictures of undercarriage? Being a east coast car I am concerned about any corrosion on the suspensions, engine or frame. It looks very clean. Thank you.
