Featuring a twin-turbocharged Mezger engine paired with the factory-exclusive X50 Powerkit, this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black full leather interior. The car comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as optional carbon-fiber trim, supple leather seats, crested headrests, and Custom Tailoring. It was acquired by the third and current owner in 2009 at just over 10k miles and is now being offered for auction out of Florida showing approximately 43k miles on the odometer.
This 996 comes finished in Basalt Black Metallic with a matching black cabriolet top and factory-exclusive stainless steel exhaust pipes. The car rides on a set of custom 19” HRE wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport tires and the seller notes the rear tires were recently replaced while the fronts were mounted in 2016. The front bumper was previously refinished to address road-going wear and the passenger-side front fender was refinished following minor cosmetic damage. The rear bumper was also replaced after the minor rear-end damage reported on CARFAX in 2014. The seller adds that all paintwork was carried out by Champion Porsche and notes a slight indentation on the front bumper guard, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a full CARFAX report.
Inside, black full leather upholstery is complemented by optional carbon-fiber trim covering the rear center console, door sills, shifter, brake handle, and three-spoke steering wheel. Other options include supple leather seats with Porsche crested headrests, a storage compartment lid with Turbo logo, the Parking Assist System, a remote 6-disc CD changer, and left-seat lumbar support. The car also comes with a factory Bose sound system and subwoofer.
The factory optional X50 Power Kit adds larger turbochargers, intercoolers, and revised tuning for an output up to 444 HP and 457 lb.-ft of torque. The 3.6-liter flat-six engine drives all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. A new clutch was installed by Champion Porsche in 2015 at just over 31k miles followed by replacement of the front brake pads at 41k miles. The seller reports there are no outstanding service items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title.

I do apologize...I should not have characterized the badging in that manner. Thank you for the courteous reply...
@Foxtrot When I purchased the car from the second owner in 2009 the car had the turbo S badge on it. but The car is technically a turbo cabriolet X 50.
Can you explain the goofy "turbo S" badging on the decklid?
