Finished in Midnight Blue Metallic over premium Brown Natural Leather upholstery, this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo Cabriolet features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its 3.6-liter Mezger engine. It was first registered in New York and acquired from its second owner, a local PCA member, earlier in 2022. Benefitting from an upgraded Fabspeed exhaust and several recent maintenance items, this Turbo Cabriolet is now being offered for auction showing just under 18k miles on the odometer.
This 996 comes finished in Midnight Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue cabriolet top, red brake calipers, and factory 18” 911 Turbo wheels. Accessories include “Turbo” logo wheel center caps and X50-style stainless-steel exhaust tips. It currently rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2014 and the seller describes the paint to be in excellent original condition with only a few small nicks, scratches, and wear marks on the soft top. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with paint meter readings and a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Brown Natural Leather upholstery including matching floor mats and optional heated seats with adjustable lumbar support. The climate control LCD display was recently repaired, and the seller reports all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine producing up to 415 HP stock. Within the last 3k miles, this example has been fitted with an upgraded air filter and Fabspeed sport exhaust system including high-flow catalytic converters for increased power and sound. The original exhaust components are said to accompany the sale and a new battery and clutch accumulator are said to have been recently installed as well.
This sale will include a set of three keys, owner's manuals, and a clean title.

@Rlanning - the IMS bearing problem does not apply to the turbo and gt cars of the 996 model range as they have a different engine than the regular cars.
Has the IMS bearing been replaced?

@PlaPan thanks for that. My main question re the exhaust system was if it’s complete. No need on any of the photos, your explanation is enough.
@Bkm4463 - picture 21 is of the left side rear quarter panel - there are no dings on the panel. The whole car has only one very small ding on the hood that would not photograph.
If you would like you can send your email address privately and I will send you the link with all the pictures here - you will be able to see them in a slightly higher resolution and get more detail.
The original exhaust is complete - I do not have a picture but can try to get you one tomorrow if needed.
@808Sid - as mentioned no issues or needs.
@PlaPan in photo #21, what are the spots above and forward of the wheel well? Reflections, dings, something else? Also, do you have a photo of the exhaust system parts you replace that are included in the sale?
Thanks.
Any repairs needed?
Bid in the amount of $40,000

Thanks.
Convertible top and rear spoiler function properly.
No records.
The car was driven less than 3k miles since 2015 - always had an annual oil/filter change and brake fluid and gear box oil was done less than 2 years ago.
There are no issues or needs at this time.
Nice 996! Are the top and rear spoiler fully functional? Are there any service records and if so, how far back do they go?
Thank you in advance...
Hi - no videos at the moment - can try to get you one.
