Available for auction is this 2004 Porsche 996 Turbo X50 Cabriolet finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a removable grey wrap, over a Black Full Leather interior. This 996 was sold new by McKenna Porsche and is reported to have remained with the original owner until 2019. With an original sticker price of over $159k it comes handsomely optioned with power adjustable heated front sport seats, aluminum interior trim, and most notably the X50 Turbo Power kit which upgrades the 3.6L Mezger engine with larger turbochargers, intercoolers, and special tuning. Currently showing approximately 146k miles on the odometer, this Turbo Cabriolet is being offered for auction by its owner out of California.
Characterized by its broad fenders and rocker panels, side air intakes, and rear spoiler with a speed-activated wing, this Turbo sports a removable custom grey wrap over its Arctic SIlver Metallic finish and black cabriolet top. The seller reports that the wrap carried a cost of nearly $6k and that the glass was removed to ensure a high quality finish. The cabriolet top is said to be in great shape and it rides on a set of upgraded 19” OZ racing wheels dressed in a new set of Pirelli tires. Inside, this Turbo showcases a custom-tailored Black full leather interior highlighted by a pair of power adjustable heated front Sport Seats Arctic Silver Metallic backrests.
