@Porschepisces You are correct!
@Porschepisces Have copy only - no original!
Has this car been serviced at Porsche Hilton head?
Bid in the amount of $26,890
@JohnM. @Marcinowski you have a great car with the mandatory X50 power kit. These 996s drive well and are free of any intelligent electric interference we now see in current models. A bit of a poser but that can be easily remedied. Good luck
Do you have the original window sticker?
@Kmck Entire vehicle is wrapped with 3M product - cant tell its on there!
What brand of paint protection film was used and it covers entire exterior. Any yellowing on film which some brands tend to have.
@Mercyhealth Good question - brakes are standard Porsche brakes for the '04 911 turbo - however, the calipers were painted yellow by previous owner!
@JohnM. @Marcinowski the calipers are painted yellow but are they standard steel brakes? The 996.2 turbo S came standard with ceramics and X50 power kit. Please clarify. Thanks
@9under63 I purchased this vehicle from the Hilton Head Porsche dealer (my second acquisition from this dealership) & I have total confidence in their sales/service department and the fact this was a human entry error which ended up on CARFAX report!
Regarding 2nd owner - per dealer, this owner had 2 - 911 Turbos and traded both in on a new (at that time) 911 Turbo S!
@rbrunson I am in contact with the Hilton Head Porsche dealer to investigate obtaining a DME report.
A PPI is doable and photos of the under carriage are not doable at this time! Like most of the country - I am confined to my home and don't have access to a lift!
@dierkens I purchased this vehicle from the Hilton Head Porsche dealer (my second acquisition from this dealership) & I have total confidence in their sales/service department and the fact this was a human entry error which ended up on CARFAX report! I concur with your logic/findings

Yes; We'd like an explanation. It looks like there were two (2) typos in a row. If you look at the 1st entry it looks like the 4 should be a 3. That would put the mileage as the same as the previous entry. And the next one looks like the 0 should be a 3. This would put them all in line. Also, if you look at the next entry by Peacock it falls back inline to what would be expected. Having said all of this I would still like to know if the current owner got any information from those service providers and/or previous owners.
Can you provide a DME report?
How about pictures of the under side of the car?
Would you agree to a PPI by a local Porsche dealer paid by the buyer as condition of purchase?
Brief explanation please on odo discrepancy and 10 month second owner. Appears to be a beautiful golf bag carrier for getting to all those wonderful courses around Hilton Head!
@PorscheLover179 Argh, wrong car. Sorry!!
Can you provide additional information about the scope of the engine work performed? The description cites a full engine rebuild, but the receipt describes only valve and cylinder head work. Do you have any evidence that there was no piston damage to the cylinders where the valves crashed into the pistons when the timing belt broke?
