Finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a black leather interior, this 2004 Porsche 996 GT3 features a Mezger flat-six engine with an upgraded 3.8-liter displacement by DeMan Motorsports. The motor build was completed in 2012 along with a custom close-ratio transmission gear set, a GT3 RS lightweight clutch and flywheel, stainless-steel headers, 200-cel sport cats, and a Fabspeed exhaust at a cost of over $32k. It also comes factory-equipped with the optional Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, electric Sport Seats, Guards Red seatbelts, Porsche-crested headrests, aluminum instrument dials, automatic climate control, and Custom Tailoring. Previously listed on PCARMARKET, this GT3 is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 21k miles on the odometer.
This 996 GT3 is believed to be one of only 27 Basalt Black Metallic examples imported to North America. Equipment includes a GT3-specific bumper with a lip spoiler, optional bi-xenon headlamps, flared rocker panels, a fixed rear wing, dual exhaust outlets, an optional painted rear model designation, red brake calipers, and silver 18” GT3 wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Clear paint protection film was installed over the front end by a previous owner and a ceramic coating has been applied since the seller’s purchase. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black leather interior features an Alcantara-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel with red stitching, and a matching shifter and handbrake. Other accessories include optional electric Sport Seats with Guards Red seatbelts, aluminum instrument dials, carbon fiber door sills, carbon fiber belt outlet trim, automatic climate control, cruise control, and an AM/FM CD stereo. The seller describes the interior as in excellent condition with only slight signs of wear.
The original 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine was rebuilt by DeMan Motorsports in 2012 and upgraded to a 3.8-liter displacement with 102.7mm pistons and cylinders. It was also upgraded with a GT3 RS lightweight clutch and flywheel, DeMan stainless-steel headers, Fabspeed 200-cel sport cats, a Fabspeed exhaust, a carbon fiber Fabspeed cold air intake, and a custom ECU tune. The rear wheels are driven through a rebuilt 6-speed manual transmission with custom close-ratio 3rd-6th gears and a limited-slip differential. The seller reports all routine maintenance items are up to date.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This GT3 is like no other GT3, built to be driven and enjoyed by any Porsche enthusiast always looking for further performance from the already legendary Porsche GT3.”

Sorry I meant 3600 rpm at 80mph in 6th, I grabbed the wrong tire diameter. Please confirm.
If the calculation is correct it’s spinning 5000 RPM in 6th at 80mph. Can you confirm?
@bergx7 Stock suspension is still in place.
The vehicle is very responsive to your driving style and driving situation, hard to give you an exact number. The only point I can confirm is as you shift through the gears you will have a huge smile on your face.

Stock suspension?
What RPM is it spinning in 6th at highway speed?
Bid in the amount of $85,000
@Blubusdrvr Vehicle was sent to Deman to be upgraded from a 3.6 to 3.8. Upgrades and enhancements by the shop were the reason for the engine to opened up and upgraded along with the transmission.
Bid in the amount of $76,000
Any insight into why the motor was rebuilt?
@2shores We have no invoice specifically outlining the coolant lines done, but with the Deman invoice it confirms the level of service and money invested into the build prior to it being delivered to the customer.

I know this car. It's amazing. And not for the faint hearted. Also: your wife won't ride in it, for better or worse. Wish I had the room and money for it.
Good Morning,
Final seven hours of the auction remaining. We look forward to finding a new home for this very special 996 GT3 Deman build. This build could not be duplicated by Deman today for anywhere near the same cost.
We are here to answer any last-minute questions, send us a message or give us a call.
Good luck to all interested parties.
thank you... watching to see where goes... very interested. Owned a couple of 996 turbos. details are vital.. a 12-13 year old build presents some concerns... more questions later. thx
@DonnyB Fresh paint meter readings along with two pictures of minor imperfections to note on the front bumper ppf have been submitted to the auction and will be uploaded shortly. The vehicle overall is in excellent condition.
Do you have higher resolution photos of the paintwork today? Current pictures res loose clarity when zooming in on to see what seems to be scratches and/or photoshopped. No accusations just looking for conditions as it sits. An invitation to fly to Florida and see for myself, won't work. Looks like it's a nice car. Details are important to me...
@Robmac123 A few oil services and regular malignance that were performed by the previous owner leading up to us purchasing the vehicle. Unfortunately there are no physical records for these routine maintenance items Prior to us owning this GT3 it belonged to another dealer owner, who had it as part of his personal collection and maintained it with the in-house mechanic for the regular maintenance items.
We welcome and encourage any inspections.
Hi, Do you have any recent service records ? I don’t see anything since the invoice for service parts in 2018. Thanks
Any idea of the current hp?

@imsLOL This GT3 has not been dynoed. If possible and if you are able too, I would recommend coming to see, feel and hear the car in person. The pictures and videos don't do this GT3 enough justice.
Driving and Walk Around video have been uploaded, enjoy.
Hi there, have you dynoed this car? If so, can you post the results? I'm interested to see if it can actually put down 450 hp.
Amazing! Seller we need a cold start video and driving video of this beast!

Good Morning Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to offer this uniquely built 2004 Porsche 996 GT3 3.8 by Deman. For the enthusiast in search of more performance and handling look no further, for the perfect OEM+ 996 GT3 with well over $30,000 invested.
Bored out to 3.8L's and received accommodating supporting modifications such as Deman stainless steel headers, FabSpeed 200 cell sport cats, Fabspeed carbon cold air intake, and Fabspeed exhaust. With Deman Motorsport's matching performance ECU software for the now 3.8L Flat 6, this GT3 is now estimated to be producing 450HP.
The transmission also received work to support the extra power, including a re-gear for shorter gear ratios in 3rd-6th gear and a GT3RS lightweight flywheel and clutch assembly.
Here to answer any questions or to show the vehicle to any interested party.
Good luck!
