The first year in which the model was offered in the United States, the original 911 GT3 underwent significant changes in 2004 including revised aerodynamic bodywork and a more powerfully tuned Mezger flat-six engine. This example comes finished in Black over a matching leather interior and features optional painted hardback Sport Seats with crested headrests. It was cared for by its original owner up until 2011 and has been registered in the state of California since 2006. Recently serviced and cared for by only two owners, this GT3 is now being offered for auction with under 44k miles showing on the odometer.
This GT3 is finished in the Back and equipped with optional xenon headlamps and colored Porsche crest center caps. The factory 18” GT3 wheels were dressed in a set of new Continental tires in 2022. The seller reports an older layer of clear paint protection film was recently removed from the hood while the front bumper and mirrors remain covered. The CARFAX report shows an accident with a stationary object in 2010 and the seller states the driver’s door was refinished and blended into the front fender as a result, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with the full CARFAX report.
The black leather interior features optional Sport Seats with Black painted backrests and Porsche crested headrests. Other options include carbon fiber door sills with model insignias, cruise control, and A/C with full climate control. The seller reports all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
This GT3 derives up to 380 HP and 284 lb.-ft of torque from a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six Mezger engine. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. Compared to the original 996 GT3, the updated version utilizes the bodyshell of the Carrera 4 and features upgraded 6-piston front brakes. The maintenance history provided on the CARFAX report shows 17 records including service in January 2022 at 40,364 miles. The seller states the front hood shocks were also recently replaced along with an oil change and front-end alignment.
This sale will include a clean title.

Seat belts were added by the first owner. Coolant lines have not been tied.
I will post undercarriage photos and get both answers for you.
Bid in the amount of $2,500
Have the coolant lines been pinned on this car? It doesn't seemed as though it was tracked so I'd say no, but the R888Rs might suggest otherwise. I am looking for a track worthy GT3.
Any undercarriage photos available? And can you explain the rear seat belts?
I was told the object was a pole in a parking lot.
Please watch paint meter video. Drivers door was damaged and would not open. The wife had it towed. There is paint work on drivers door.
What stationary object was hit? Full frontal collision? Side?

Missing the front aero splitter. Some will say that was an "option" which is incorrect. I ordered my 996 GT3 back in 2004 and the front aero splitter is standard. Pretty cheap at about $200 and easy to install. Seller should ensure its on there.
Interesting, rear seat belts. I have never seen a 996 GT3 with this configuration. Very nice looking car, GLWA.
I feel it's my duty to buy this and drive the piss out of it!
