Finished in Speed Yellow over Black full leather upholstery, this 2004 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its 3.6-liter flat-six engine. The car was further configured with the Xenon Headlamp Package, Sport Exhaust System, a Sport Shifter, a body-colored center console, supple leather, Porsche-crested headrests, carbon and aluminum interior accents, and Custom Tailoring options. Upgraded with an Aerokit and an IMS bearing replacement, this C4S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California with less than 27k miles showing on the odometer.

Sporting wide bodywork, this Carrera 4S is finished in Speed Yellow with a black convertible soft top and was fitted with an Aerokit under prior ownership. Additional equipment includes the optional Xenon Headlamp Package and 18” Turbo wheels with optional colored Porsche crests, mounted with Falken tires dated 2019–2020. The exterior is said to present well, with the exception of minor paint touch-ups and a crack on the underside of the front bumper. Paint protection film has been applied to the front end, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is appointed with Black full leather with matching Porsche-lettered floor mats. Optional equipment includes supple leather seats, front Porsche-crested headrests, yellow instrument dials, a body-colored rear center console, and carbon and aluminum brake and shifter trim. Custom Tailoring selections include deviated stitching along the seats, doors, and dashboard. Additionally, the steering wheel has been painted to match the exterior.

A naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 315 HP to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. Optional performance features include a Sport Shifter and Sport Exhaust System. The seller adds that the IMS bearing has been replaced, and documentation is included in the sale. A total of 23 service entries are shown on the CARFAX report.

This sale will include a clean title.

@mxtr55 According to Carfax report the work was performed at SMS European in Huntington Beach, Ca. on 10/28/20 using LN Engineering single row pro upgrade kit which replaces the single row with dual row bearing. The clutch was also replaced at this time. I’ve uploaded a screenshot from carfax showing. SMS is a highly rated service shop in Orange County. I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

@JobyWon - can you provide documentation on the IMS bearing replacement such as what was replaced with? Was it using the externally lubricated bearing or just replacing the old with a new?

@Foxpilot Thank you. The area around the fuel filler is actually the paint protection film peeling back just slightly and discoloring. The fog light on lower drivers side is not broken but the paint has chipped to appear that way. The front spoiler does sit very low and previous owner must have scraped it. There is only one small area where it goes through to the body work. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

In pics 47-50 seem to be the only exterior flaws. Paint rub around fuel filler and chips and cracks in the front lip. Are the cracks in the front lip just in the paint and previous correction or do they go through the body work? Also is the light on lower drivers side fittings broken or does the chip just make it look uneven compared to passenger side? Otherwise looks like a well cared for vehicle. Just curious if those are surface level and a simple paint correction type fix.

@madog Thank you. You are correct 3.6L. I did not notice the typo. The engine is original to the car. Will have it corrected.

Very well appointed vehicle and unless the engine has been swapped , I think you mean a 3.6 liter engine . Wishing the owner success on the sale .
