Featuring wide bodywork and brakes from the 911 Turbo, the Porsche 996 Carrera 4S offers a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine and an all-wheel-drive system. This 2004 Cabriolet comes finished in Carrara White over Black full leather and features the Bi-Xenon Headlamp Package, the Bose High-End Sound Package, supple leather seats, body-color interior dash trim, and Custom Tailoring (special wishes that require further communication). Modified with H&R lowering springs, a Fister Performance exhaust, 18” Turbo-look wheels, and more, this C4S is now being offered for auction out of California with approximately 67k miles showing on the odometer.
This 4S Cabriolet version is finished in Carrara White with a custom red convertible soft top installed under prior ownership. Aftermarket H&R springs have lowered the stance, and black powder-coated 18” Turbo-look wheels have been mounted with General G-Max RS tires. Additionally, a body-color hardtop will accompany the sale. The seller adds that a ceramic coating has been applied and notes a paint scratch on the rear spoiler along with a missing screw on the driver’s side lower front lip. Detailed images are provided in the gallery, and the CARFAX report notes damage in May 2008.
The cabin presents Black full leather upholstery with optional supple leather seats. Options also include the Bose High-End Sound Package, body-color dashboard trim, Porsche-crested headrests, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid, Porsche-lettered floor mats, and door pocket lighting. Additionally, a PCCM system with Apple CarPlay has been installed. The seller reports all gauges and electronics to be in working order.
Power comes from a 3.6-liter flat-six engine, generating as much as 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Equipment includes 4-piston fixed alloy calipers, ventilated cross-drilled discs, front and rear stabilizer bars, Porsche Stability Management (PSM), and Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). An aftermarket Fister Performance exhaust has also been installed. The CARFAX report shows 23 service history entries.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), owner’s manuals, a build sheet, a toolkit, a spare tire, and a battery charger.
The seller would like you to know: “This is a great car! It's my first 911, so I might be biased, but I've treated it like one of my children. On the day I purchased this car, I was actually looking for a silver one, but the color combination caught my eye. Distinctive and beautiful - especially with the top down. Of course, I wanted to modernize it a little, so I had PCCM w/ Apple CarPlay installed (but kept the original radio). Since my relocation from Southern California last year, I also purchased and installed a color-matching hardtop to deal with Northern California weather.”

@mgatepi No additional blackstone reports or oil changes.
@mgatepi the top functions perfectly. I don't have a video, but I think the photographer may have taken one, as he had me open and close it about 5 times during the shoot.
@mgatepi I just uploaded those 2 invoices. Jan17 was for the install of the hardtop kit - $530, and Feb6 invoice was for replacing the window regulator & install of new LED interior lighting - $1,991.25

@mgatepi Yes, the top functions perfectly.
Does the top function correctly? Any video of this?
Thank you!
Thank you pzilla for the report. Looks like the car was in for service on 1/17 and 2/6 of this year. Can you post all the pages of these invoices showing exactly what was done? There should have been another oil change at that interval is there a more recent Blackstone report? Thank you
@mgatepi Blackstone Oil analysis has been uploaded.

@mgatepi Yes! Thanks for asking. I will be adding the Blackstone oil analysis in the next few minutes.
@write2athena I have taken and uploaded a video clip of a short drive last next.
Any oil analysis done? The IMS is a big question here.

Hi! Not sure if this will work, but I’m interested in the video. Thanks!!
The app is not allowing me (or I do not know how to) add video clips, only photos for some reason. Please feel free to use the "contact the seller" feature and I should be able to attach the media clip, if it's not too large. [Mr. Moderator, please advise). Thanks
@write2athena Done - and love hearing that flat-6 scream! Will be uploading the clips shortly.
@write2athena hmmm, not sure other than the photographers snaps/ clips. I can take one when I get home (or early tomorrow AM). Sound of engine from inside the cabin (with windows down) OR to rev engine while parked?
@pzilla Seller: Any chance you have a video of the car driving? Curious how exhaust sounds once it’s warmed up. Thanks!

No. I didn't get one when I purchased the car.
PPI available?
@exton there is no evidence of the IMS bearings being replaced in the service history. As the current owner, I did not. In regards to documented maintenance, since I have owned the vehicle, it's maintenance has been captured in the Carfax report.
Hello. In addition to the IMSB question, what other documented maintenance has been done?
Good day. IMS done? Thank you
