Finished in Dark Teal Metallic over a Savanna Beige full leather interior, this 2004 Porsche 996 Carrera 4S Coupe comes equipped with optional 18” Sport Techno wheels, the Bose High-End Sound Package, the Xenon Headlamp Package, Porsche-crested headrests, and more. This C4S benefits from a replaced IMS bearing among other maintenance and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Virginia showing approximately 75k miles on the odometer.
Distinguishable from the standard 996 Carrera by its wider fenders, Turbo-style bumpers, flared rocker panels, and a unique reflector band spanning between the taillights, this 996 is finished in Dark Teal Metallic. Options include a rear window wiper and the Xenon Headlamp Package. It rides on optional 18” color-crested Sport Techno wheels wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires from 2021. The CARFAX report lists damage in October 2005 and December 2012. The seller notes that the front fender was repainted in 2012 and detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin presents Savanna Beige full leather with matching floor mats, the optional Light Wood Package (small), Porsche-crested headrests, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and a remote 6-disc CD changer. Other equipment includes a sunroof, a 3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, a central locking system, and a Becker-Porsche CDR23 stereo. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are said to function as intended, with no warning lights present.
Powered by a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine, the 996 C4S sends up to 320 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 5-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. Standard performance equipment includes Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD). The seller notes that service includes the replacement of the IMS bearing, removal and replacement of the oil separator, a reflanged transmission, replacement of 2 studs on the catalytic converters, and a replacement transmission cable bushing and differential bracket.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This car has been bought and serviced to drive. It runs flawlessly with no issues and has been garage-kept in the past two years with about 1k miles put on it per year. The color of the car changes from rich green to deep blues depending on the time of day and where one stands. It's a beautiful, stock-kept example free of issues.”

@Havenhearth - please see image 55/66 uploaded for all the work done along with the entire IMS on invoice 7630, 12/05/2022. Thank you
Hello,
Thank you for the update on maintenance.
Do you know which IMS bearing was used during service? Is there any paperwork, and/or do you know the service date?
I appreciate your time and your assistance,
David
@Bob.Dietrich no, there is only one key.
Hello everyone. I uploaded a video this morning of the exhaust cold start. For the sake of time remaining, here is also a Vimeo link to the cold start: https://vimeo.com/953174958
Are there two sets of keys?
Thank you @marmoset - Apparently there wasn't any bore scoping when the engine was out, so I asked for a leakdown test but no answer. Let's see the exhaust on cold start....!
@Essex Thank you. Everyone wants to see the exhaust point of view on a cold start video, sorry I should have been clearer. We are looking for those telltale bore scoring indicators.

The color on this is stunning. Also, I love the Sport Techno wheels. GLWA
@marmoset @marmoset, uploaded a cold start video this morning after sitting about a week. There are no additional service records other than what is included in the IMS bill.
Will there be a cold start video coming? A driving video would be nice too.
Is there any additional documentation on service from 2016 to the present aside from IMS work? The Carfax doesn't show any service after 42k?
