Incorporating the styling, brakes, and all-wheel-drive system of the 911 Turbo, the 4S was offered as the ultimate version of Porsche’s 996 Carrera. This 2004 example comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black full leather featuring an optional Sport Shifter, the Aluminum/Chrome Package, a thicker steering wheel, and Bose High-End Sound Package. The car has been fitted with a set of aftermarket 18” wheels and shows a long history of service through an authorized Porsche dealer. Now with approximately 81k miles on the odometer and fortified with an IMS bearing, this Carrera 4S is being offered for auction by its owner out of New Jersey.
This Coupe comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and is distinguishable as a Carrera 4S by its Turbo-style fascias, rockers, and wide fenders as well as a unique reflector band spanning between the taillights. Exclusive stainless-steel tailpipes are also included as part of the optional Aluminum/Chrome Package. The aftermarket 18” angular 5-spoke wheels come fitted with Sumitomo tires and silver Porsche crested center caps. The exterior is described to have been kept in good overall condition with two small dings as depicted in the photo gallery. A clean CARFAX report is also provided for reference.
The Black full leather interior includes a factory optional Sport Shifter, thickened steering wheel, heated seats, and the Bose High-End Sound Package as well as aluminum-look instrument dials and stainless-steel door entry guards included with the Aluminum/Chrome Package. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be fully functional.
All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine producing up to 315 HP and 273 lb.-ft of torque. The 4S shares its fixed 4-piston brakes with the 911 Turbo and the seller reports this car to have received a new clutch at approximately 74k miles. The clutch has been replaced as well as the IMS bearing. Additional maintenance history shown on the CARFAX report includes replacements of the thermostat, crankshaft/driveshaft seals, and stabilizer links by Paul Miller Porsche of New Jersey.
This sale will include a clean title.

When I bought the car I was given a receipt for ims and clutch done about 74000 miles I have it not dealer installed
Where is the service record for the IMS?
Is this missing the lower lumbar cushions for the rear…not that I’d have anyone back there. I have them in my 996.2 C2 Cab. Really want a 4S for a daily…this looks like someone’s getting a great deal. GLWA
