This 996 is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and rides on optional 18” Light Alloy Carrera wheels that were mounted with new tires in May 2023. The seller notes a bumper was previously refinished for cosmetic purposes and some minor imperfections are present including small chips on the nose and a dent on the edge of the passenger front wheel arch. @Sanderson1 Thank you. We have had many dm's regarding the the IMS bearing. It has not been upgraded to the LN Engineering Solution and is assumed to be original. We can arrange any services to be completed on your behalf prior to delivery (dm for details).
Please tell me status of IMS bearing. Thank you

@Efariab Yes, we can arrange enclosed transportation COD.

One more question about shipping & logistics.
Would you be helping & seeing it go through, if I were the lucky final bidder of this auction, and arranged for a shipping company (myself) to them to pick up the car from your location and shipped to California ??
@MCI,
Good morning (from California) and thank you so very much for taking the time to provide that very detailed & honest video of the cold start & more on the car !!
The car sure looks beautiful in person (video) and sounds great, too .

@MCI
Thanks for the quick reply!
Also, it's good that you're assuring (with your words) that except for the IMS Bearing, the rest of the features & components are functioning normally .
Now, I wish that there were some maintenance records available that would at least build the bidders confidence knowing that the car changed hands bet 6 to 8 different owners.
Would be be possible to make a few videos of the completely COLD ENGINE start up showing the initial dash gouges and immediately showing the engine running/idling for a while, then a couple of engine higher reves to hear the sound of the engine.
Also, maybe a driving videos, as well .
Sorry for being a bit too demanding here, but we live all the way out here in California and the would have to be shipped here .
So as you can imagine, as a sight unseen buyer, there's some leve of risk, especially on a very expensive to maintain car like a Porsche!
@Efariab Very nice and clean indeed! We just put a new set of tires on and it drives out great. The CarFax history of service is all we have and we are working to correct the ownership because it shows 1 more for sure and maybe 2 than it should(*no promises). We are assuming the IMS has not been upgraded. The transmission shifts without slipping, it is as crisp as a Tiptronic can be and does not appear to be leaking. The a/c blow's cold and the he heater heats. All the buttons, knobs, switches and levers work as they should. We can upload a videos. Is there anything specific you would like to see in action?
@MCI,
Nice & clean looking 996 despite 8 previous ownership (per your carfax) !
I was wondering if the infamous IMS bearing has been delt with and/or updated??
Also if you can please tell us A) the auto-Transmisson(Tiptronic) is in good running condition (no slippage, shifting nice & crisp, any fluid leakage, etc.) . B) If all the A/C, HVAC, lighting, dash etc. C) on the ENGINE, any smoke, noises, history of boarscoring in the maintenance records??
Thanks in advance
Welcome! I will answer all questions quickly and provide additional pics or vids upon request.
