Commemorating “40 Fast Years” since the original Porsche 911 was built in 1963, the Porsche 911 40th Anniversary is a limited-edition model with 1,963 examples produced worldwide. Based on the 996 Carrera, it comes finished exclusively in GT Silver Metallic over Grey Natural Leather upholstery and features the X51 Power Kit, a Turbo-style front fascia, Sport Suspension, Aerokit side skirts, bi-xenon headlights, a painted center console, an Alcantara headliner, painted hardback Sport Seats, and specialized badging. This example, #1,454, was upgraded with a new IMS bearing, clutch, rear main seal, and water pump in 2022. Showing approximately 78k miles on the odometer, this 911 40th Anniversary is now being offered for auction out of Tennessee.
The exterior is finished in GT Silver Metallic and features a Turbo-style front fascia with painted intake grilles, Aerokit side skirts, and a “40 Jahre Limited Edition” rear badge. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, integrated fog lights, heated power mirrors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual polished exhaust outlets, black Porsche-branded brake calipers, and aftermarket 19” wheels dressed in Pirelli and Michelin tires. The CARFAX report shows minor damage to the right rear bumper in 2016, and the seller states there is no evidence of paintwork. Noted imperfections include some rock chips on the hood and front bumper, a small ding on the front right fender, and some scrapes and oxidation on the outer rims. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin features Grey Natural Leather upholstery accented by GT Silver Metallic painted center console, dashboard trim, and Sport Seat backrests. Other accessories include aluminum gauge bezels, heated and power-adjustable front seats, driver’s seat memory, a three-spoke leather steering wheel, and a black Alcantara headliner, automatic climate control, cruise control, a remote central locking system, a digital Hi-Fi sound system, and an aftermarket Kenwood head unit. A 911 badge plaque ahead of the shifter includes a plaque engraved with the car’s limited-edition production number.
Rated at 345 HP, the car’s 3.6-liter flat-six engine came factory-equipped with the X51 Power Kit, which includes a modified induction system, exhaust, camshafts, DME tuning, and an additional radiator. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. The 40th Anniversary model comes standard with Porsche Stability Management (PSM) and Sport Suspension, which adds stiffer springs, shocks, and stabilizer bars. The seller notes aftermarket mufflers have been installed, and a service was completed in October 2022 including an LN Engineering IMS bearing retrofit kit, a new rear main seal, clutch, water pump, and a coolant flush.
This sale will include owner’s manuals, a toolkit, a spare tire, a tire inflator, a car cover, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “The 40th Jahre 911 was loaded out with everything Porsche had to offer the 996 at the time. It shared the GT Silver paint with the Carrera GT, had unique bodywork, and special leather. The X51 Powerkit and limited slip differential came standard and make this a true factory hot rod. This car has been well cared for and is a wonderful driving machine!”

@markbutlerinc Unfortunately I do not have the original wheels. Original 40th wheels are very prone to oxidation. Hard to find a good set but they are out there. I would like to see a set of turbo twists on it.
I just uploaded the DME report to the gallery.
Thanks!

Hi All!
Thanks for stopping in to see this 40th. I really love these cars. I have had several and they really feel special compared to normal 996s. The factory packed some very cool stuff into these. The X51 power package creates a nice punch. They are very rev happy and feel strong. Fun cars to drive.
This a nice example. Sport seats are rather rare to get in a 40th and complete the special leather interior. The car has had some good maintenance including the IMS bearing RMS and clutch which were done by a reputable shop here in TN. It runs and very well. I have two videos that are coming shortly, should be up this evening. I also have added the DME report to the gallery.
Shipping is available worldwide. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests. I can also provide a shipping quote. PPIs are always welcomed.

Nice build. Is a DME report available? Are the original wheels available as well?
