Reinstating the GTO nameplate for the first time since 1974, the fifth-generation Pontiac GTO was produced from 2004 to 2006 based on the third-generation Monaro model by GM’s Australian subsidiary Holden. This 2004 example is finished in Phantom Black Metallic over a black leather interior and features a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Having been registered to a single owner in Pennsylvania until 2023, this collectible Pontiac GTO is now being offered for auction out of Florida with under 11k miles showing on the odometer.
This GTO is finished in Phantom Black Metallic and features side skirts, a rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, GTO fender badges, and dual exhaust outlets. It rides on factory 17” five-spoke alloy wheels dressed in 2-year-old General G Max tires. The seller indicates some minor imperfections around the exterior, although the car remains in excellent overall condition for its age. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black interior features power-adjustable front bucket seats in leather with “GTO” embroidered backrests. Accessories include a four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel, red-faced instrument dials, aluminum pedal covers, power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM stereo with a 6-disc CD changer. Some minor signs of wear are noted on the driver’s seat and rear seats.
Rated at 350 HP and 365 lb.-ft of torque, the 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine delivers power to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Standard features include power-assisted variable ratio rack & pinion steering, a traction control system, four-wheel independent suspension, and power front/rear disc brakes. The CARFAX report shows a consistent maintenance history with 25 service records including a battery replacement and oil change in 2023.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “A hard-to-find, well-kept 6-speed manual is a hard find... this is the perfect car for someone to enjoy. Unmodified, 10,000 miles, and plenty of service history make this unique and you get an amazing machine that will provide years of enjoyment.”
