Up for auction is this 2004 Lamborghini Gallardo finished in Grigio Altair over a black leather interior. The first-generation Gallardo came equipped with a naturally aspirated V10 engine sending power to all four wheels, and this particular example features the rare and highly desirable 6-speed Graziano gated manual transmission. It has also been customized with an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust system, a carbon-fiber front splitter, side skirts, and a fixed Superleggera rear wing. Originally sold in Florida, this Gallardo had spent time in Ohio and Tennessee before being acquired by the current owner in California where it is now being offered for auction with just over 20k miles on the odometer.
This Gallardo is finished in Grigio Altair (LY7W) and features Superleggera-style carbon-fiber aerodynamics including a front splitter, side skirts, and a fixed rear wing. The Gallardo was initially penned by Fabrizio Giugiaro of ItalDesign/Giugiaro, and the finished design was completed in-house by Luc Donckerwolcke, also responsible for Lamborghini's Diablo and Murcielago V12 supercars. The factory silver-painted 19” Cassiopeia wheels come dressed in new Toyo Proxes 4+ tires. Removable tints have been applied to the taillights and side markers as well as a layer of clear paint protection film over the front end. The seller notes a 20-hour paint correction process has also been completed, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is upholstered in black leather with deviated silver stitching extending from the deeply bolstered sport seats to the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Driver’s amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and power-adjustable seats, a CD/cassette stereo, Gallardo-branded door sill plates, and an Alcantara headliner. The driver is also supplied with a traditional gated manual shifter, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum foot pedals. The seller reports some wear on the seat bolsters and control buttons.
The dry-sump aluminum-block 5.0L V10 engine sends much as 493 HP and 375 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Gallardo can reach 60 MPH from a standstill in approximately 4 seconds and continue to a top speed of nearly 200 MPH. An aftermarket stainless steel exhaust system has been fitted and the original unit is said to accompany the sale. The CARFAX report shows 17 maintenance records dating back to 2005, with the most recent service completed in March of 2021.
This sale will include a clean title. An iconic Italian sports car with a proper gated manual transmission, this tastefully modified pre-LP Gallardo is ready to be driven and enjoyed by a new owner.
