Available for auction is this 2004 Ford F-350 Lariat SuperCab finished in Oxford White over a Medium Parchment vinyl interior. Beginning in 1999, Ford began producing a dedicated line of heavy-duty trucks positioned above the F-150, which were offered in numerous configurations from the F-250 to the F-550. This single-owner 2004 example came factory equipped with the premium Lariat trim, dual-rear wheels, an extended cab with rear-hinged rear doors, and a 6.0L turbo-diesel V8 mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Benefitting from a recent engine rebuild, this F-350 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington while showing just under 47k miles on the odometer.
While the first generation of Ford’s Super Duty truck carries much of the same design language as the contemporary F-150, only the taillights and tailgate are shared. This F-350 comes finished in premium two-tone Oxford White with an Arizona Beige lower body. It features an extended cab configuration with rear-hinged rear doors, and a widened bed to accommodate its dual-rear wheels. Additional features include front and rear chrome bumpers, front tow points, side steps, “4x4” decals, a hitch receiver, a diamond plate bed box, a bed-mounted headache rack, and an upgraded chrome grill. Detailed images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. It rides on a set of 16” 5-spoke chrome wheels dressed in Toyo Open Country tires.
The cabin was factory optioned with heated front bucket seats which come upholstered in Medium Parchment vinyl with “Lariat” embroidery, and are coordinated with the rear bench, door panels, and dashboard. Wood trim accents the door panels and beige carpets line the floors. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and door locks, keyless entry, a sliding rear window, and an AM/FM radio with cassette and CD players. The seller confirms that all gauges, electronics, and accessories remain functional.
Power comes from a Powerstroke 6.0L turbo-diesel V8 which produced up to 325 HP and 560 lb-ft of torque when new. The rear or all four wheels are driven by way of 5-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. This F-350 came factory equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, a Dana solid front axle, and a Dana 80 rear axle. In November of 2022, the engine is said to have been completely rebuilt with new pistons, rods, bearings, camshafts, and seals courtesy of Black Diamond Diesel of Ridgefield, Washington. The seller notes that the engine has been "bulletproofed" and there are no outstanding service items at this time.
This sale will include a clean title.

Are there any documents showing the exact work performed to certify the bulletproofing?

@tjklein I believe so
When the engine was bulletproofed did they upgrade the performance at all? Thanks.
I’m having a hard time figuring out why the engine was rebuilt and bullet proofed before 50k miles? That’s a great expense for so few miles. amotors, If it were one of the best engines Ford built it would not need a rebuild and bullet proofing prior to 50k miles.

This is a very rare truck with a manual transmission not to mention being bullet proofed. The 6.0 is one, if not the best, of the best engines ford built, torque out the kazoo and very fast!! Doubt if there is another of this configuration out there? GLWA.
