Replacing the F355 as Ferrari’s flagship mid-engine roadster, the 360 Spider debuted with a lighter, stronger aluminum space-frame chassis produced by Alcoa, smoothened body lines, a user-friendly power convertible top, electronically controlled dampers, and a 3.6-liter flat-plane crank V8 that produced nearly 400 HP. This 2004 Spider comes finished in Giallo Modena over black leather upholstery and equips an F1 6-speed automated manual gearbox, upgraded exhaust headers, and a radar detector system. Showing approximately 19k miles on the odometer, this example is now being offered for auction out of California.
This 360's Pininfarina-design bodywork comes finished in Giallo Modena with a black power-operated convertible soft top. Exterior features include bi-xenon headlights, a transparent engine cover, quad-exhaust outlets, a body-color rear grille, Scuderia fender shields, and yellow Ferrari-branded brake calipers. Additionally, the car rides on two-piece 18" modular 5-spoke BBS wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza tires. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is situated in a black leather interior decorated with yellow accents and matching Ferrari-branded carpeted floor mats. Amenities include automatic climate control, power locks, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Additionally, an aftermarket stereo and radar detector have been fitted. The seller notes that the interior is all original however the leather cover on the passenger airbag has separated.
Power comes from a mid-mounted 3.6-liter V8 producing up to 395 HP and 275 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a Ferrari F1 6-speed sequential manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Recent service is said to have included the replacement of the convertible top’s hydraulic cylinders and elastic piece, along with an oil change and brake fluid flush in preparation for the sale.
