This 2005 Chevrolet Corvette is finished in Black over a matching interior and features a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. It was fitted with a K&N cold air intake and a Magnaflow axle-back exhaust under prior ownership. The seller purchased it in March 2023, showing just under 60k miles. Since then, it has been equipped with Doug Rippie Bilstein shocks, Hotchkis sway bars, a Z06 composite leaf spring, an MGW short shifter, a 1 to 4 skip shift defeat device, 18” Apex wheels, and a JVC double-din head unit. Professionally set up for autocross and track events while maintaining a show-ready appearance, this C5 Corvette is now being offered for auction out of California with just over 62k miles on the odometer.

This Corvette is finished in Black and features a removable roof panel, retractable headlights, fog lamps, daytime running lights, a glass rear hatch, heated power mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. The car has been lowered and rides on a set of black 18”x11” Apex wheels dressed in 315/30 Falken RT550 tires. The windows have been tinted and the front license plate panel has been modified with a custom grille for improved airflow. The seller states the exterior is in excellent condition apart from a 2” scrape on the upper rear passenger fender and some glue remaining from a door edge protector on the passenger side. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The black interior features power-adjustable leather bucket seats with memory, a four-spoke leather steering wheel, and an MGW short shifter with a custom boot. Other accessories include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless entry, a head-up display, a surround sound system, and an upgraded JVC double-din head unit with Apple CarPlay. The tire pressure monitoring system is functional, although it has not been calibrated for the aftermarket wheels.

Factory-rated at 350 HP, the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter LS1 V8 engine has been upgraded with a K&N cold air intake and a Mangaflow axle-back exhaust system. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed T56 manual transmission with a 3.42 limited-slip differential. The suspension has been modified with Doug Rippie Bilstein shocks, Hotchkis sway bars, a Z06 composite front leaf spring, and a custom autocross/track alignment by Excelsior Motorsports in Escondido, CA. The water pump is said to have been replaced under prior ownership at 59,900 miles and the car passes California smog tests.

This sale will include owner’s manuals, a window sticker, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “It has been stored in my garage every night since I have owned its paint is in perfect and very shiny condition. I bought the car to create a Cars and Coffee show car-like level of cleanness while at the same time being an efficient Autocross car. I was not planning to sell this car anytime soon, but my C7 Z06 is coming next week, so this car is in perfect condition inside and outside and ready to be seen, heard, driven, and enjoyed by the new owner.”

Good morning all and welcome to the last few hours of the auction. I am available to answer questions, take more photos or do a facetime with anyone that wants to see anything in more detail. Good morning all and welcome to the auction site of my pristine 2004 Corvette. I bought this car in March of 2023 to create a car that was equally at home at a Cars and Coffee and on the Autocross track. Since this concept is not very common, I had to do some thinking about how I wanted to accomplish these goals.

I was not planning on selling it anytime soon, but an unexpected C7 Z06/Z07/M7 came to my attention and I bought it. So, I promised my wife that I would sell this one. I am going to miss the handling, the stance and, even the smell of the leather inside.

I am an auto fanatic and this corvette is the 48th car that I have bought for me or my family since high school. I had great fun modifying it and as it sits now, it is great fun to drive on the street or Autocross track. I have added several videos below that provide granular detail about the modifications and how it all fits together so well. Also, I have uploaded several shots of the car in action at an Autocross earlier this year. Due to the suspension mods and the alignment and the slightly more power than the factory engine came with, it is a very nice balance of handling and power on the track.

Finally, I have uploaded a spreadsheet that lists all the mods and their cost.

I am open to any and all questions and would be happy to provide more photos or to put it back on the lift to show anything underneath in more detail.
