The M3 can be distinguished from a standard E46 Coupe by its flared wheel arches, front fender vents, unique bumpers, side skirts, power dome hood, trunk lid spoiler, pop-out rear quarter windows, rounded aerodynamic mirrors, and quad-tipped exhaust.
