Among the high-performance variation of BMW’s E46 3-series, this 2004 M3 Convertible is finished in Silver Grey Metallic over Grey Nappa leather interior upholstery. Pairing a desirable 6-speed manual gearbox with its 3.2-liter inline-six, it features a limited-slip differential, individual throttle bodies, quasi-dry sump lubrication, Double VANOS variable valve timing, and more. Acquired by the second and current owner in March 2024, this highly original M3 Convertible is now being offered for auction out of Florida with approximately 82k miles showing on the odometer.
The exterior is presented in Silver Grey Metallic with a Black power-retractable soft top. Compared to the standard 3-Series, the M3 sports wider fender flares, side air vents, and a revised front bumper, mirrors, and rear valence. Additionally, black kidney grilles and a short antenna have been fitted, with the original antenna included in the sale. It rides on factory 19” Style 67 M forged wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires from 2022. Slight imperfections and fading are noted, including a golf ball-sized dent near the right taillight, which is reported to have been the result of a cyclist that hit the car as per the May 2020 incident on the CARFAX. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
Inside, the cabin is upholstered in Grey Nappa leather and features deeply bolstered power-adjustable Sport Seats along with matching door panels and carpeting. M-specific details also include a thicker M-Sport leather steering wheel with contrasting stitching and an M-branded gauge cluster with special warm-up lights unique to the S54 engine. Additional factory features include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Harman Kardon sound system. Minor signs of wear are noted as expected with age.
The E46 M3 is powered by a 3.2-liter S54 inline-six with individual throttle bodies, quasi-dry sump lubrication, and Double VANOS variable valve timing. Up to 330 HP and 269 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) is also equipped as standard. The CARFAX report notes that regular oil changes have been performed.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Purchased this car last March 2024. Always kept in covered garage building. Driven only ~900miles in past year. Everything works in the car, minor wear & tear as any +20yr car will have, but everything in original condition.”

@an_architect Hi, none have been addressed and none have been necessary. Still a lightly driven car. Top works perfectly and there are no defects inside or out.
Hi, do you know if the major items have been addressed? Subframe, vanos, smg pump, or rod bearings? Are there any issue - inside or out with the convertible top?
