This Audi B6 S4 Quattro is reported to be 1 of 151 U.S. examples to have been finished in Brilliant Red over Ebony leather for the 2004 model year. Representing the third generation of Audi’s S4 performance sedan, the B6 generation was the first to feature a V8 engine and came standard with Recaro sport seats, Nappa leather upholstery, and the Quattro permanent all-wheel-drive system. Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, 18" Avus wheels, heated front seats, a sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and more. This S4 is now being offered for auction out of New York showing approximately 53k miles on the odometer.
The S4 is differentiated from a standard A4 by its aluminum-optic mirror caps, decklid spoiler, revised bumper covers, sill extensions, and dual bright-finished exhaust outlets. This S4 is finished in Brilliant Red and rides on original 18” Avus alloy wheels which come wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tires. Detailed images and paint meter readings are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior of this S4 is highlighted by front and rear Recaro sport seats trimmed in Ebony Nappa leather. S4-specific details include aluminum beltline trim, stainless door sills with S4 logos, and an S4-branded tachometer. Optional features include heated front seats, manual rear window blinds, dual-zone climate control, and a Bose sound system equipped with the Infotainment Package. The Premium Package adds a power glass sunroof, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, memory function for the driver’s seat and side mirror, and automatic headlights. The seller reports all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
Powering the S4 is an all-aluminum 4.2-liter V8 which was factory rated at 340 HP and 302 lb.-ft of torque. A 6-speed Getrag manual transmission delivers power to all four wheels by way of Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. The S4 received many upgrades from a standard A4 including larger brakes, and a retuned suspension consisting of revised springs, dampers, bushings, anti-roll bars, and a lower ride height. Extensive service records are included which highlight routine oil changes along with regularly scheduled maintenance.
Service records and a clean title are included in the sale.

Hi @ryangfriedman
Would you be able to reply to my earlier question from the other day:
Beautiful S4! What is the status of the timing chain guides? Have those been dealt with yet? Any indication of concern? Also, how does the clutch feel?
Thank you
Good luck bidding in the last few hours!

I previously owned the wagon version of this same spec. Brilliant car and one of my all time favorites. Car was bomb proof and drove wonderfully. Wish I kept it. Good luck to seller.
@Carranza As policy we kindly as that you do not ask the seller to discuss reserve . It is kept private for extremely good reason.
