Produced from 2001 to 2007 as Aston Martin’s flagship sports car, the Vanquish is a high-performance grand tourer designed by Ian Callum and powered by a 5.9-liter V12 engine. It gained widespread recognition for its role as James Bond’s spy car in the 2002 film Die Another Day. This 2004 example comes finished in Titanium Silver over Obsidian leather and features a 6-speed automated manual transmission as well as the Sports Dynamic Pack (SDP) which includes a stiffer chassis with shorter springs, revised dampers, quicker steering, larger brakes, and special lightweight wheels. The Sports Dynamic Pack was available for only a short time in 2004 and Aston Martin has claimed only 94 examples were equipped as such, making it one of the rarest Vanquish models of all. Preserved under full paint protection film and with less than 4k miles showing on the odometer, this Vanquish is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This Vanquish comes finished in Titanium Metallic and features special lightweight slim 9-spoke wheels equipped with the Sports Dynamic Package. Styling cues include a sculpted front bonnet with twin air outlets and traditional straked vents on each fender. The full exterior is said to have been preserved under Xpel clear paint protection film and the wheels remain dressed in their original Yokohama tires, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Obsidian leather interior is accented by metallic details on the doors, center console, and steering wheel. Amenities include automatic climate control, heated and power operated front seats, pushbutton ignition, leather-wrapped paddle shifters, an original AM/FM cassette stereo, an aftermarket hands-free phone module, and an integrated K40 radar detector system. The seller confirms all gauges and accessories remain fully functional.
The naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine delivers as much as 460 HP and 400 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of an electrohydraulic 6-speed automated manual gearbox. The Sports Dynamic Pack provides quicker steering and transmission ratios as well as a stiffer chassis with shorter springs, revised dampers, and larger brakes with 6-piston calipers in front paired with larger rotors featuring an elliptical groove pattern. All available maintenance history is shown on the CARFAX report with the last service entry recorded in 2016.
This sale will include a clean title.
