The first-generation Saab 9-3 was introduced in 1998 based on the GM 2900 and was a major update from the previous Saab 900, featuring new styling, a revised suspension, improved safety features, and a hydraulically operated convertible top. This 2003 example was ordered in Merlot Red Metallic over a Parchment leather interior, and was first titled in Florida, where it has remained since new. It was specified in the SE trim, which equips a 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder producing 205 HP. Accompanied by detailed service records, this 2003 Saab 9-3 SE convertible is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Florida with approximately 45k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Merlot Red Metallic (284) with a black convertible soft top. Equipment includes headlight wipers, fog lights, dual rear antennas, and power heated side mirrors. The seller reports the left front fender was refinished under previous ownership and notes some small rock chips on the hood, road rash under the front valance, and abrasion on the right quarter panel underneath the taillight. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory 16” five-spoke wheels are mounted with Firestone tires from 2021.
The cabin is upholstered in Parchment leather including power-adjustable seats with matching door panels and carpeting contrasted by a black dashboard with wood trim. Amenities include an onboard trip computer, power accessories, keyless entry, automatic climate control, a CD stereo, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, an optional factory wind deflector, and a Saab-branded lap blanket. The seller reports new convertible top release handle clips were installed along with all new high-pressure hoses, and the GPS antenna mast was repaired.
The 9-3 SE is powered by a 2.0L turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine factory rated at 205 HP in the SE trim. The front wheels are driven by a 4-speed automatic transmission with modes for sport and winter. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in around 7 seconds with a top speed of 143 MPH. The seller reports the vacuum pump was replaced in March of 2022. Detailed service records dating back to 2006 are said to accompany the sale.
This sale will include owner's manuals and a clean title.

@James87S ..Absolutely none! This car has been fully maintained at a local Saab specialty repair facility and has had any issue that has arisen addressed immediately.
Hello! I would be driving back up to St. Louis. Would anything need to be addressed mechanically prior to setting off for a 1,000mi road trip? thank you
@Brownieone ..I will take some shots of undercarriage tomorrow and load them to ad.
@Brownieone ..That is a crack in the header panel trim on the left side. It's not noticable unless you specifically look for it because its directly above your head. About 1.5" in length
@dibblem3 Hi ... what are we seeing in picture 76? Looks like a tear of the liner, or what is that? Also, do you have any photos of the undercarriage? Thank you.
